The next morning the majority of the underground was gathered at the doors. Some had tents and things of that nature as they decided to stay outside while settling down.
Others just wanted to tag along so they can figure out where they wanted to build their new homes.
Some others decided it would be better to just stay where they were though. Especially now that signs are showing it was going to be a lot less crowded soon enough.
"GASTER!" A females voice shreeked, following a loud thud as the skeletons front door was slammed open.
"AAA-" He screamed in reply, jumping awake harshly while falling back in his desk chair. "ARIAL I THOUGHT I SAID NOT TO DO THAT ANYMORE."
"Today is the day! We've been working to get here for months and I'm not going to let your lazy bones miss it because you overslept now get up and let's go!" Arial responded.
Gaster quickly got up from the floor, looking at her with a strange expression as he noticed Hari being carried by being tucked under her arm as he waved. He still seemed to be waking up himself.
He just shook his head with a chuckle while he turned to go get dressed for the day. "You can set Harrington down on the couch Ari." Gaster called out as he walked into his bedroom to change.
"Maybe, because today is such a nice day. You should tel-" Arial started, being cut off almost immediately.
"No. Not yet.." He sighed, flopping over on the couch as Arial let him go. "Hh I dunno Arial why are feelings so hard?"
Arial just shrugged in response from the kitchen, raiding Gaster's pantry for snacks.
"Man does this guy ever eat anything other than greasy burgers?" She mumbled, earning a groan from Harrington as he realized she wasn't paying attention.
"Get out of my fridge Arial." Gaster spoke as he left his room.
Most of the time he was in there was him deciding if he wanted to wear his lab coat or not. He decided to wear it like always, after all that coat was part of his ego.
"I mean you said it yourself, we're going to be late." He said in a mocking tone while grabbing a pen and his notebook off the desk, followed by his keys to his house and phone.
"Alright alright, we can eat later. Pretty sure Mrs. Hopperton said she was bringing cinnamon buns anyway." Arial shrugged, following behind him as he left the house after shutting the fridge.
Harrington also followed as he rolled off the couch, the three forming their now pretty well known trio as they met up with the others.
Arial was right as well, Mrs. Hopperton was also passing out cinnamon buns to everyone.
Despite the guard still having to wear their armor just incase, everyone was pretty free to explore and travel while over all having a good time. Everyone helped one another as they left, some monsters sharing blankets and hot cocoa as they left Home and began their journey outward into the cavern.
The crystals on the ceiling where bright as they walked through the freshly fallen snow, the soft chattering of the crowd echoing off the walls.
The trip to the other side was planned for two days, everyone bringing tents and sleeping stuff with them in their bags. It took a long time to get to Home when they first walked through the barrier and the paths they took were unsteady. Splitting the time up could help find safer routes and build some bridges with the wood they took along with them on a large wagon.
(Authors Note: So before I get a lot of comments about this I want you all to remember that the core itself is a huge shortcut to New Home. Not only do the vents that shoot you over gaps save time when walking through hotlands but the elevators and such that are used to travel from the two places aren't built yet. So imagine taking the trip from waterfall to the castle when you see the castle in the distance in one day. Not happening XD)
Gaster continued taking notes, writing down everything once he got past where they've been patrolling. He was particularly interested at the near sudden change from the ice and snow to the water and swampy ecosystem. There was a blizzard too that didn't seem to go away.
"Hey Dr.GrumpyGuss." Arial spoke as she caught up to him while the group was taking a rest. "Some of the fuzzy folk are planning on staying here, on the other side of the snow of course. I don't think anyone wants to live in that." She spoke, handing him a hotdog she got when people were passing them out for the break.
"I've actually grown fond of this place myself. Might be a place I'd look into living after I retire." He responded, closing his book.
"Whaaat? The great Dr.Gaster retiring?" She teased looking over as Harry sat on the other side of Gaster.
"Sounds like the plot to a fairy tale." Harrington chimed in, earning a playful scoff from Gaster as he unwrapped the foiled hotdog.
"Well because of that some people are already planning on making it a town." Arial continued the conversation.
"And? Doesn't surprise me that people want to spread out." Gaster spoke.
"Yeah but guess what King Asgore named the area." Arial snickered, already trying to hold back a laugh.
"What?" Harrington cut in, intrigued himself.
"Snowed-In." She responded with a laugh. "Never in my life have I seen this man name something with a normal name. I hope Toriel names the new prince or princess." She giggled.
"Agreed. I do not want to have to try and hold a straight face while talking to Billy goat." Gaster joked around before returning to his hotdog.
"Let's just hope our future is brighter than that." Harrington laughed.
"Yeah. I hope so too." Gaster smiled, a mouth full of hotdog.

I need someone to slap me across yhe face and yell at me to write everyday.
I'm giving you all permission to do so.
With that being said any My Hero Academia fans? I'm just now getting to season 4 and man bakugou is not getting the love he needs.
On that note I'm going to sleep.It's 2:52 A.M.
