After wandering around in the snow for a few hours the lizard guardsmen, also known as Barry, began to slow down a lot.
They soon had to make their way back to Home from there.
"Really I was just put out on the front lines a lot, there wasn't a lot of time to do anything at home other than heal quickly and get back out there.." Harrington spoke, Arial nodding to confirm.
"I'm not the captain, never wanted to be but Gaster you know how much I was sent out. The skeletons were the front lines, the heavy hitters." She sighed. "That's why we lost..we lost so many.." her voice trailed off.
"I can't say I wasn't busy either.." Gaster sighed after a while of silence. "King Ashton kept me quite busy before he passed. Queen Gloria was the one keeping him from working me to bits" he chuckled. "They needed medical supplies, weapons, armor. The biggest project was figuring out a wall of sorts to put around the city." He continued. "You both know how well that worked.."
There was silent nods in return.
"We should go to Ray's bar, heard he's putting his son in charge for a while to see how he handles things." Arial spoke up, a new enthusiasm in her voice. "We can all catch up and have a good time you know?"
"That sounds great actually, then I can finally get out of this stupid armor, it's steeling my energy." Harrington spoke, a cocky grin on his face.
"Hari why-" Gaster questioned, clearly cringing while Arial busted out laughing. "Arial it's not funny stop laughing-" Gaster groaned, only adding to her giggles.
It didn't take long for them to get back, Barry immediately stealing a torch off the wall for warmth.
The other Guards were able to go home, the trio of Skeletons went straight to the castle to debrief with Asgore.
"There's plenty evergreen trees for wood, plenty of snow for cooling if needed or if we needed water. Plants seem to do well there despite the cold and lack of soil to be found. That's it for now." Gaster finished.
Asgore smiled nodding at the three. "That is good. Any signs of humans Harrington?" Asgore questioned.
"No sir. No sign of life." Harrington spoke, despite his attempts to stay all proper and such, he still had quite the grin on his face.
Today had been a good day for the three and they still had more to do.
"Then you may go. Next patrol will be discussed with you soon." Asgore smiled.
Arial immediately grabbed their hands, pulling them along. "Off to Ray's!" Her voice echoed along the caverns.
"Wait we need to change Arial!" Hari's voice called out after.

*A short walk later.
The three had planted themselves at the bar in front of the fire elemental chatting amongst themselves as they figure out what they were going to order, finally in normal clothes.
Grillby was a fairly quiet child, was quite shy but really only had trouble speaking to others.
Though he had a friend who knew him well and usually sat there behind the counter and spoke for him.
"He wants to know what you'd like" The small bird monster spoke, poking their head over the counter.
"I'll take a burger." Gaster ordered first, watching as his sisters expression turned to one of disgust when the words registered.
