Arial was also a wingdings font at heart, though she had a very peculiar font when speaking in common. Hence the name Arial. Much like her brother, purple was the colour associated with her magic, though she wore a lot more purple than Gaster did. She was fairly tall, but shorter than most of the other members of the royal guard, but in return she had a lot more power then most of them as well.
Her armor was a dark obsidian colour, gold accents on the rims of the armor plates as well as two golden shoulder plates. There was a golden DeltaRune placed on the center of the chest piece, a respected symbol to the monsters and common on higher ranking guardsmen. Her boots and gloves matched in colour as well, also having a gold rim at the top. Under the armor was a sort of body suit, made with metal threads to help stop any impact from weapons. She didn't particularly like helmets, not many did to be fair. So she finished it all off by tying her scarf up around her neck, not wanting to leave home without it.
"Hari let's go, no one else is coming with and Gaster is halfway to the barrier by now I'm sure." She called out to him in a joking manner.
Harrington got the title of Captain some time during the war, there was a small celebration but not many were in a celebrating mood. Shortly after his armor changed sense it sort of reflected rank in a way.
His armor was more of a grey metallic colour, also having gold accents just on the shoulder pieces. There was also a golden DeltaRune on his armor as well. Underneath was another suit with the metal threads but he chose to wear brown pants along with his armor. It fit quite well actually. He was able to tuck them into his boots, even though there was piece for his knees attached to his boots.
Over all the style fit him well, being completed with a long Orange scarf tied around his neck and thrown back over his shoulder.
"Alright alright I'm coming.." he sighed, allowing the door to Home close behind them as they began to walk through the snow.
Gaster was digging a hole in the snow by the time the two caught up, the other guards on patrol watching with curiosity while two of the three making snarky remarks about Gaster, though he seems like he wasn't paying much attention. "The snow seems to just keep.. going?" He spoke in a confused tone, the hole at this point already being several feet deep.
The second he stepped aside the dog took a moment to add a couple more feet to the hole.
Still snow.
"Strange." Gaster hummed as he wrote in his notebook.
"Hey nerd, what are you up to?" Arial was practically making Hari run to keep up with her as the two caught up with the group.
"Digging in what seems to be endless snow." He shrugged, speaking like it was a normal thing.
"Sounds boring." She teased, peaking down into the hole they've dug with a curious 'hm' noise.
"You're boring" Gaster returned as he began walking forward again.
Occasionally one of them would get a peak at his notebook that has a series of trees drawn on it and other things they've found in the snowy area.
•Snow seems to be endless, though it's likely just a mile or so deep at most. Not really that interested to find out what's under it.
•Lots of trees, mainly spruce and other evergreen trees. Wonderful wood resource.
•Haven't gotten an accurate read on the temperature but it's enough to make cold blooded like monsters uncomfortable fairly quickly.
•Cavern system is much larger than I first thought. There's plenty of cliffs that reveal large amounts of forest. The view is quite nice.
•I don't need to be baby sat but the company is nice.He ended up getting a little ahead of the others again, leading the group along the snowy lands while occasionally stopping to look at something.
"Hey, you should go talk to him and get rid of that regretful expression." Arial spoke up, her voice seemingly snapping Harrington out of his thoughts.
"Wha.. what expression?" He questioned, quickly trying to cover it up while she chuckled.
"Oh please. I've known you both for a long time. I know you better than that Harrington. Plus you're bad at lying and hiding things." A smirk growing on her expression as she pushed him forward more. "Go talk to him. I'll keep the others a fair bit away so you two can have some peace." She added.
"Arial I-"
"Nope. Not hearing it. You'll find something or you'll both die of ackwardness and I'll have to make up some story about heroism to save your dignity and no one wants that." She laughed, still pushing him forward till he began to walk ahead on his own.
"Okay okay jeez." He chuckled along with her, letting out a sigh as he fixed his scarf.
Catching up with Gaster wasn't hard, the others were just walking slower because of the heavy armor and judging by the laughter coming from them Arial was telling a story to keep them busy.
Hari cleared his throat quietly, though before he could even speak Gaster had already beaten him to it. "Hello Hari, need something?" He asked, examining a small fern he was kneeling next to.
How it was growing with no soil was beyond him.
"I.. uh. Right, just wanted to see how you were doing." Hari spoke, crouching down next to him to look at the fern as well.
Gaster looked over at him, a small smile forming. "Arial sent you."
"Yeah.."
"You should know how well she reads people Hari" Gaster laughed, Hari chuckling along with him.
"You'd think I would have learned that by now." Hari agreed.
"You would think."
