Krystle accepted what her heart what telling her, that she liked K2. It was both, inside and out.Same could be said for K2. According to him, she was a sweet girl.
He was currently sitting in the living room, with his phone in his hands but his attention was not on the gadget but on a certain green eyed beauty.
He went inside the bedroom to ask her who's call it was when he saw her foot getting tangled in the wire. His heart literally skipped a beat and he rushed forwards, hoping he could catch her before she fell to the ground. Fortunately, he could. But his heart started beating fast when she was in his arms. He was so close that their chests touched. He could even see a little bit of yellow in those beautiful eyes of her.
K2 was broken from his chain of thoughts when he heard soft padding of feet across the tiled floor. It was a very low sound but he heard it. Krystle stood between the bedroom door and kitchen. He could see that she couldn't decide what to do before she took a deep breath and walked towards him. Amusement was lingering in his eyes as she sat beside him on the sofa.
"Thank you. If you weren't there, I guarantee you that my nose would have been broken." She chuckled as K2 smiled.
Krystle could feel herself getting hot. She knew she had red cheeks by now as she waited for K2 to say something.
But she didn't expect what happened next.
She was thrown on the floor with K2 above him. She was shocked but before she could say a word, gun shots started echoing around the house. The window glass broke and the chandelier above them also threw some glass pieces on them. Her whole body was protected by K2's body. It continued for about five minutes but Krystle couldn't even imagine the damage that this beautiful house had to endure. Everything, then, went silent.
K2 cautiously lifted his head off from her shoulder and looked around. When he saw no threat he got up from the ground and helped Krystle off the floor. She was horrified to look at the state of the house. Kitchen and living room windows were shattered, bullets or either bullets marks were stuck on the once beautiful walls. The dining table chairs were closest to the window and suffered the most damage. They were riddled with bullets. Everything was broken except the bedroom. Luckily when she came out of the bedroom, she had closed the door so the door took the most hit.
"The house is destroyed." Krystle expressed, sadly as she looked around at the broken house.
"It's okay. At least we are okay." K2 pointed out after looking over at her for any injuries. He was glad she was not hurt as she didn't even recovered from her last one. She still had a scar from that.
"But it was so beauti-" She stopped as she heard K2 groan. She looked at him and gasped.
A large cut was there on his right arm. Appartment a glass cut it.
"You are bleeding." She screeched as she took a hold of his arm. K2 immediately shook his arm free from her gasp.
"It's nothing." He uttered as he turned around, about to leave the area when Krystle held his good arm.
"Oh no. You are coming with me." She ordered as she dragged him behind her to the bathroom. She knew he was voluntarily coming because no way in the world, she could drag him with her little strength.
She opened the bathroom door and told him to sit on the counter. Before she could ask him where the first aid box is, he pointed to the 2 drawer. Krystle bent down, opened the drawer, grabbed the box before pushing the drawer back inside.
She stood in front of K2 as he placed his elbow on his knee, to give better her better access to the injured arm.He watched as she opened the box and took out the supplies. She dipped the cotton ball in the antiseptic before looking at K2
"It will hurt." She warned. K2 wanted to laugh. She thought that this little injury will cause him harm. She didn't know what all he had went through.
She's so precious
K2 thought while Krystle cleared the blood. He didn't even winced because she was just so careful and gentle with him. The cut was deep and he lost a little blood, so he did need bandaging.
Krystle threw the dirty cotton ball into the bin before grabbing another one and dipping it in antiseptic too. She cleaned the gash once again before throwing the cotton. She could feel K2's eyes on her and it made her nervous but she had to do this. She took out some loose cotton and bandage before wrapping the wound up.
K2 could see that how gentle she was as she worked upon his wound. She was so close once again in the same day and it didn't did any good to K2 as he just wanted to hold her in his arms.
Perfection
This was what K2 was thinking as he looked at the girl. Her face was spotless except the little scar from the attack. It was a little healed and needed a little more time to get completely healed. Her hair looked so silky that he so much wanted to drag his fingers through. K2 didn't know what was happening to him because he literally met the her two days before.
He sighed and immediately Krystle looked up, thinking that she hurt him. She questioned him with her eyes and he shook his head, giving her a soft smile. Krystle nodded as she tied the bandage and stepped back, only now noticing the close distance between them.
"You have to wrap a plastic on it when you are going to shower K2." Krystle said, leaving no room for argument.
K2 slowly nodded his head, his eyes never leaving her.
"Karan Kamra." He spoke.
"What?" Krystle asked, confused with her brows scrunched lightly.
"My name. It's Karan."
