flo sits on the edge of the boat across from kiara looking up at the sky. her attention fixes on jj when she hears his whistle.

"you guys see that?" he asks, nodding at the slow passing boat, "that's the Malibu 24-MXZ, the world's finest wakesetter. number one in luxury, quality, and performance. 200k easy."

"we picked the wrong parents," pope comments.

"i hate to break it to you guys, but that's topper and his girlfriend." kie says.

"oh my favorite," flora rolls her eyes.

as the boats pass sarah raises her sunglasses to the top of her head and looks to the pogues, before ignoring them and looking forwards.

"you don't have to act like you don't see us, bitch." kie calls.

the twinkie rolls up to the hotel as jj starts to load his gun.

"c'mon man, just put it back," john b says as pope and flo file out of the back.

"why? you can never be too careful," jj shrugs.

pope leans on the passenger window and says, "i predict that you bringing a weapon into a four-star hotel will likely cause more problems than solve."

"thank you, pope," john b agrees.

"i swear to god i'm gonna throw that thing into the ocean, jj." kie says as she pops her head between to front seats.

jj lowers the gun slowly and glances out the window to see flora sitting on the curb, waiting for her friends. she had been oddly quiet the whole way there. john b grabs the gun out of his hands while he was distracted.

"can't forget my badge, professional busboy." flora hears as her friends approach.

"c'mon baby bleu," jj said, reaching his hand out to pull her up so they could walk inside.

wait that was cute flora thinks as her face heats up, yet again. it's been doing that around jj a lot recently.

"why do you say it like that?" pope asked.

"like what?" jj said as they weave their way through the kitchen.

"like you have something in your throat," kie snickered.
