Chapter 7: Awake?

~Monel's POV~

I woke up to light brown hair all over my face, that's when I remembered everything that had happened. I sat up while trying not to wake up Alura, I saw that Imra was not in bed so she probably had already woken up. I tried to wake up Alura only to find that she got annoyed by it considering that she went to sleep pretty late.

"Daddy! I don't wanna wake up i'm to tired!" Alura says as she falls back asleep.

I was shocked, why did she keep calling me daddy? I mean could it be possible? Maybe I could ask Winn or Alex about it. All this had me thinking, Alura is like six years old, her birthday is this year so she would be seven, I left seven years ago, did Kara have like a one night stand and get pregnant on accident? I quickly shout down those thoughts and got changed to go to the DEO, I carried Alura trying not to wake her up. I arrived on the DEO balcony. Alex came up to me.

"Ohh hey Mon-el, how was Alura?"

"She was good, but I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Ohh Okay well you can put Alura down on a bunker than meet in the conference room!"

~ In the conference room~

"So what did you want to talk about?"

"Its about Alura, um shes been like calling me daddy a few times!"

Alex just stood there her eyes grew wide.

"Well Alura is just a kid you know sometimes kids say things they don't mean."

"Well I guess that's true okay i'm gonna check on the ship I will be back later."

"OKay bye"

~ Alex's POV~

O my gosh, what am I gonna do I think Mon-el is suspecting something, I mean I cant tell him the truth because then Kara is gonna kill me! Maybe I can ask Alura if she wants to tell him because Kara did say it was up to Alura if she wanted Mon-el to know that she was his daughter. I went to the training room to find Alura already waking up.

"Auntie Alex wheres Mon-el?"

"He went to go check on his ship, but how did you sleep?"

"Good, It was fun to sleep with my dad."

"Really? That was what I was going to ask you. Do you want Mon-el to know the truth?"

"Yes... I do but what if mommy get mad?"

"I don't think she will get mad, she will be very happy that you get to spend time with your dad!"

"okayy... when do we tell him?"

"After he's done with his ship."

"OKay!"

~ Couple Hours Later~

Mon-el and Imra enter the DEO's main room. We talk about how we will be able to take Reign down. Even though it will be complicated if we don't have Supergirl right beside us. When we are done talking I pull Mon-el to the side and try to explain the truth to him. Mon-el, Alura and I take him to the training room.

"Alex what did you want to talk about, is everything alright with Kara?" He asks in a worried tone.

"Kara is still stable but I wantted to talk to you about-" I was cut off with Alura tugging on my shirt.

"Auntie Alex! Auntie Alex! I cant breathe!" she says coughing trying to breathe.

"O my god, Alura are you okay-"

"Alex what whats happening to her?"

"I don't know- O my gosh the lead allergy its finally kicking in Mon-el you need to give me the cure or else your daughter will die!!"

"My-my daughter?"

"Yes Mon-el YOUR daughter now go get me the cure I will explain everything later!"

"OKay I will Ask Imra will the cure is!"

~Mon-el's POV~

"IMRA where is the lead allergy cure?!"

"OKay Okay calm down its in the ship, we can go get it!"

We made our way to the ship she stated searching for the cure while asking questions.

"Why do you need the cure?"

"Its not for me it's for Alura!"

"For her why would she need it?"

"She's having problems breathing because the atmosphere still has lead in it."

"How did she have the lead allergy!"

"Imra I still don't know to much of the situation but what I do know is that Alura is my daughter!" Imra froze for a second.

"I found it!"

"okay thank you we can talk later!"

I hurried to the Med-bay to see Alura on a table with sun lamps all around her next to Kara.

"Mon-el! Do you have it?"

"YES! Here."

Alex quickly injects the cure into her.

"She will need to rest for a while."

We here someone call our name when we turn around we see Kara eyes starting to flicker open she was finally waking up!
