We stayed in the villages inn for the night and it wasn't restful. I remained awake as I stared out the window of my room, eugene was in the room next to me most likely sleeping like a rock. Jack was sleeping in another room next to his, most likely sleeping like a rock as well. Eugene obviously didn't like this job with me but I've paid him well and that's all that mattered to him. I wanted to see my parents again, My people of damthril, I needed to get home before my kingdom crumbles. I shouldn't have ran off like this, it was the worst decision I could have ever made. I got out of bed, lighting a lantern and taking two pieces of paper, beginning to write to aliza and red telling them that I'm okay along with eugene. I'm telling red that I've found him and I'm on the run away with him until it's all over. Which I doubt it will ever end for many years. With this weather I'm sure I will die out here from the cold. Kenji will be the death of me surely. I hope to have eugene for as long as possible and grow close but it doesn't seem to be going that way. How am I supposed to stay sane in these conditions. After I was done writing the letters, I took a step outside and sat there in the snow with my cloak on to stay warm. I stared at the night sky as the stars that twinkled kindly at me, looking at the moon. I felt like I was friends with the moon, it didn't matter if it didn't know name. I felt a relationship with it. As I'm looking at the sky, I heard footsteps behind me. Me being paranoid I jumped to my feet and turned around to see a man standing there with his hands up. "Woah miss, I'm just here to say hello. Did I scare ya?" He asked with a soft smile but I just rolled my eyes and chuckled. "Obviously." I sat back down and he laughed softly, sitting next to me. "How ya do?" He asked me which I just sighed in response. "Me too." I giggled with him and just looked at my feet with a troubled look. "You must be the princess, are you not?" I nodded at his question, looking at him with a raised brow. "Why do you ask?" That question was stupid considering probably everyone in rouwell knows why kenji has gone rouge. "I mean, I could only assume." He shrugged as he looked at me with a soft smile, he slowly reached for something but I didn't notice until it was up against my throat threateningly. "You have anything of value?" My heart rose in panic but I reached for the dagger in my boot. "No, but I have this." I grabbed it and held it right to his throat as he held his small one to my neck. "Woah woah hey! Calm down there lady, I was joking." I glared daggers at him and held it closer to his neck. "What's your name?" I asked, wanting to know so I can warn eugene the next morning of this mugger who I can only assume is apart of the species of catfolk who was infamous for stealing and mugging people. "Onwar seer, please don't hurt me!" Wait...seer? "Seer? Are You related to Dante seer?" I asked curiously which his face dropped in anger. He pushed my knife away and growled. "He's my cousin, completely despise that man." I was curious as to why this was. "Why?" I asked but he laughed and looked at me. "Dante and me never had a good relationship. We used to be thieves together, partners in crime. But when he got married, he shut me out of his life. Never spoke to him again." He explained in short detail which made me feel bad for him. "People change ya know? Might wanna talk to him about it." I suggest but he laughed on response. "I've tried, he just continues to shut me out. All because of aliza, God sake I hate her as well. Taking my only family I had." I felt horrible for him, hopefully that changes soon, I'm sure aliza didn't mean for all of this to happen when dante married her. "I hope you guys find a way to be a family together." I tell him with a soft smile and he chuckles, looking at the night sky. "I hope so." He mumbled quietly. He patted my shoulder and stood up with a smile. "Fight that rogue. Your a strong wpman from i saw." He says before walking away in another direction from the inn. Maybe he lived here. I smiled after he said that, it actually gave me confidence. Thank you onwar.
(Yoolie's pov)
This was a fast growing winter, it was like a disease. I was escorted to the world capitol where all leaders of empires gather for a meeting. We we're talking about the fast spreading winter and how to stop, capture the rogue, and face his punishment. "This man is most likely after something that's very valuable to him. Or trying to take over your empire miss yoolie." Our overlord said to me as all the other emperors agreed with him. "I get it sir, but my main concern is capturing sir kenji. He's a danger to our society we've built." Overlord reymond nodded as he sat down with us at the rounded table. "How will we be able to stop this winter by force without trying to find the man? Of course we will but it's only a matter of time before it freezes other empires as well." The few other emperors looked at each other with worried glances and shrugged together. We've been talking amongst each other but soon enough it turned to frustrated arguments with each other. I can't have this going on, but then I had an idea. "Hey!" I shouted over the bickering and took a deep breath. "What beats ice?" I asked simply expecting the most easy answer. "Fire." Emperor arwald answered. "If you've kept up politically with the war between terial and dyrium. Fire and ice." Everyone was looking at me while nodding as they went along and listened to what I was saying. "We get the help of dyrium to defeat kenji and unfreeze the whole Empire." I say which the chancellor seemed to agree with because he had that smile and look in his eye when he caught on. "Perfect. Along with that, over throw the king and queen of terial and the war will most likely end." He said which made me smile and nod. "Perfect plan."
(???'s pov)
"Sir, what shall we do?" My servant asked me as I take a sip of my tea as I looked over my protected land when everything outside was frozen. "Its been rather quiet before this has happened. I don't believe this is the act of war. This is something else." I state as I sip from my tea cup and look out of my big window from the castle. "We won't get involved if we don't have to. Terial have lost their minds." I rant to my servant who stood there respectfully listening to what I had to say even though I should be speaking to my general. It was nice to rant to someone else for a change. "Yes sir." She says and pours more tea into my cup quietly. "Tell the rest of the servants to take the day off. The kingdom shall go on lockdown." "Yes sir."
