(Eugene's pov)

The guards dropped dead and me and Jack rushed into the castle, we ran around and opened doors and suddenly a room was filled with dead bodies. Me and Jack covered our noses, Jack gagging at the smell.
The bodies were stripped naked and brutally gutted, mainly men.
"Wait...could these be the damthril guards?" Jack asked and I hummed. Kenji could have brought his own guards and killed all the damthril guards that scout the castle.
"It would make sense. Either some commited treason, or they were posing as damthril guards to lure y/n inside the castle. Come on, we have to look for y/n." Jack nodded and we left the room and shuts the door. We ran through the castle and looked in every single room and get no sign of y/n anywhere. I debated whether to scream for her name but it will alert guards. We turn a corner and see several guards and they're swords drawn. "Lets go." Pulling out my sword and Jack pulling his out we fought until they dropped dead with pool of blood under them.
"Keep looking." I say as we search through different rooms until we suddenly saw someone chained up to a wall, sitting there with they're head down crying.
"Y/n?" She looked up and smiled at me. "Eugene! Jack! Your here!" She says with a bright smile on her face as tears streamed down her face. "We're here to get you out of here." I rushed to her and Jack keeps an eye on the door. I take my sword and slashed the chains from the wall and she slips free of the shackles. I take her hand and we leave the room, the three of us run through the halls to get out of the castle. "We have to get out of the kingdom be-" before I could finish my sentence, we saw at the front doors of the castle was kenji with a giant smirk on his face. "Can you just GIVE UP?! SHES MINE!" Kenji screamed angrily as the grouip draws they're swords. "You keep fighting, your going to lose." I state and grip my sword with my hand. "You keep running, you'll die." I take my other katana and hand y/n one and she takes it with a firm grip.
"Lets end this." I say and nod to jack and y/n. Kenji laughed harshly with a red glint in his eyes as he stared at us challengingly. "Gladly."

(Y/n's pov)

We all rush at the guards and kenji, we fight against each other as our swords sharply hit each other. I stabbed a guards and threw him to the side, I kicked ones stomach and sliced his head off. We continue to fight until my sword clashed with kenji's. "I don't want to have to do this y/n." He says and pushed me off and causing me to stumble back with a grunt. "But you leave me no choice." He rushed at me with his sword raised and sliced at my shoulder, blood spewing from my shoulder. I screamed in utter pain, I use the katana and spin around and blocking his next attack. I then cut his leg and swing at his head but he swiftly dodges. My sword clashed with his as he duel each other angrily. I looked into his eyes and there was no morals behind them. It was his lust for killing people. His lust for me.
"Your pathetic kenji!" I say angrily and his sword collides with mine, fighting for dominance. He didn't say anything though. He stared deeply into my eyes with his blue and almost red ones. I struggle to push him back as he pushed forward. He then shoves me to the ground and knocks my katana away from me.
"Who's the pathetic one now hm?" He taunted with a smirk as he stepped closer to me. I crawl backwards and I hear my name. "Y/n!" I turn and see a katana flying towards me and I catch the handle. Eugene had thrown it back to me. Kenji then over head tries to strike me but I blocked it quickly. He suddenly goes down when Jack tackles him to the ground. I stand up and see them duking it out and Jack stands up, dodging his attacks as quick as he possibly could. A guard suddenly attacks me and i fell to the floor. Our swords hit each other and I kick his region and he falls to the floor, stabbing his heart.
I looked over and then I see Eugene taking on kenji, seeing the frustration as they fight along with the sweat dripping from they're heads. Kenji becomes more angrier and more frusterated, using his sword to try to stab or slice eugenes head off but he either blocked or dodged them. I wasn't surprised kenji couldn't win against an assassin. Eugene has probably had the most training through the years and has killed many with no remorse. I try my best to fight off the guards with Jack. Taking them down one by one as we worked together when Eugene and kenji were fighting against each other. But then more and more soldier came inside and fought against us. I then hear yelling.
I turned around and see kenji shoving Eugene but suddenly when Eugene went to strike him, kenji raised his hand up and when eugene's sword touched kenji's hand, ice swarmed the sword and all around eugene's body and freezing him in place.
"EUGENE!" I screamed in horror and kenji looks at me, rushes at me and our sword clashed once again as we stared at each other. "MURDERER!" I screamed with tears. "Your weak y/n. Use your anger." Kenji taunted and I grunted angrily and use my sword as it slashes at him everytime he dodged I got angrier and angrier.
"Please! Leave me alone!" I beg but he just continued to taunt me with his smirk when suddenly he struck my shoulder. I went down and grunted in pain. He looked down at me and walked forward towards me. "Y/n!" Jack tried to run to me but kenji raised his hand and Jack was instantly frozen in place. "Kenji! You don't have to do This! Just leave! Find a new woman!" I begged him and he grabbed my arm, ice from his hand spreads to my arm slowly. "Be mine and this will be all over sweetheart." He said and looked me in my eyes.
"HALT!" I hear a scream and we both look over to see a group standing there. I saw yoolie, many guards, and b/n standing there with weapons drawn and anger written on their faces! Kenji continued to let the ice ever so slowly take over my arm. Yoolie stepped forward and gripped her sword and b/n stood right by her. "This will continue no more kenji. Surrender now for your war crimes." B/n growls and kenji laughs at him and gripped my arm tightly.
"I will fight this war until I end it." Kenji grins and b/n looks at me with a nod. I pushed him off and use my katana and slice a large gash in his arm. "ATTACK!" yoolie declares and screams erupted all around and the fight had begun. B/n rushes at kenji and uses his inflamed sword. They fight against each other as fire vs ice. I fight along side yoolie and do by best to kill the terial guards. Yoolie slices at them, killing most in her path, some of her guards even arrested most of them and knocked them out. I stabbed a few and left them to bleed out on the floor. I looked to see b/n was doing the best job at fighting kenji.
"Die already!" Kenji growled and sliced at b/n's hip and succeeded.
B/n, with his years of training uses kenji's anger as an advantage and uses his fire abilities to burn his face slightly and the right side of his face was burnt. He shows no expression though, of course of his ice abilities.
"Unfreeze the land!" B/n orders but kenji laughs mockingly in his face. "Unfreeze the land." He mimics and tries to stab him but b/n uses his foot to knock kenji's feet out from under him causing him to fall. Several guards attacked b/n at the same time which made him side tracked. I rushed at kenji when he got up and fought him the best I could. Not using my anger this time and being tame with my fighting. "You've calmed down haven't you." He grinned and spun around to slice as my legs but I jumped away and crashed my sword against him. "Don't you see I love You?" He pushed me gently and I rushed him again and held the katana there. "More then anything sweetheart." He said, looking sad, angry, and frusterated. "Please love me too." He said but I didn't buy it which made him growl a bit and he pushed me to the side and tried to swift attack me but I flew to the side and hit the ground. "Don't you see?! I've done all this for You! I love You! I want you all for myself! You made me do This! You're my illness, you drive me crazy. I want you!" He then holds out a hand to me and furrowed his eyebrows. "Take my hand! Together we can rule hand in hand, over throw yoolie and take over this land! You and me will happily be together forever with no worries." He says softly to me as he walked closer and held his hand closer to me. "Take my hand." I stare at it and looked up at him. With no sympathy, I take the katana in my hand and sliced his arm he extended out to me clean off and his whole arm flies off to the side.
He screams in agony, falling to the floor and dropping his sword with his other hand and crawled back. I stand up and walked forward. Everyone stops fighting and looks at us silently. Staring down at him in complete and utter pain as tears rushed down his face. It was time to end this.
