Episode 19

(Y/n's Pov)

When I was done reading the notes, I got out of bed and walked towards to door of my room. Right when I was about to put my hand on the handle of the door, it swung open and I saw eugene holding a platter of food. His eyes widened but he bowed slightly.
"The inn has prepared you your personal platter." He said, I smiled softly and took the platter from him. "We will be staying here for a couple days until your ready to keep going." Eugene told me, then walked inside and shut the door. I sat on my bed with the platter resting in my lap, taking bites of the wonderful breakfast of bacon and eggs. "How are you Feeling?" He asked, to that question I still felt sick from what ever was puffed into my face. "Might have to get a doctor if possible." I say worriedly as I take more bites of the breakfast, eugene nodded but froze for a second. "We won't have enough gold for it though..." I frowned suddenly then purposed and idea to tell the doctor is was an urgent call in. "We can tell the doctor I'm the princess of damthril. It's urgent." I say to him, seeming hesitant but he nodded in approval. "Stay in bed, get rest until I can get a doctor." And that I did, I stayed in bed eating the food that the inn provided for us which I would assume would be on the house of course.
"Just a high fever I'm sensing." Doctor rylo said as he checked my symptoms. "That pollin is no good to be breathing in. It causes headaches, weakness, hallucinations, and black outs. A lot more but those cases are rare." Doc explains, handing eugene a bottle of liquids that looked to be blue. "Give this to her once everyday with a tea spoon." Eugene nods as he took the bottle in his hand and set it on the table next to my bed side. "How long will it take for her to get better?" Eugene asks the doctor but he paused for a second until he turned around and looked at me worriedly. "This pollin usually lasts weeks. Maybe months, but with that medicine, it should kill the pollin inside her. I promise." He then looked at eugene and smiles. "Stay here for awhile, it will be good for her." With a bow, he leaves the room and eugene sighs. He sits down in a chair next to my bed and looked at me, a maid hands him a tea spoon which he takes and puts the medicine on it. I opened my mouth and he puts the spoon of medicine in my mouth and take it in. It tasted foul though that made me want to spit it out but I didn't. It tasted like metal, so strong.
"Ugh..." I gave a sour face and I try to make the taste go away.
"You're gonna have to bare with it for awhile. Hopefully kenji won't be near."

(Kenji's pov)

The question always arises as to where my queen might be and frankly, seems impossible to find. She never stops with that man. It's only a matter if time before they gain a true bond which i didn't seem to find in them. If they meet a bond together, I won't be getting what I want. It will be too late to have her. But I won't be going down without a fight, or even a war with the empress herself and y/n. Which I feel like that war with the empress had begun. This is what I've wanted to do since I was a young one, a young adult. Seeing the political stand point of rouwell, it was very weak since yoolie had arrived. Trying to fight wars she knew she couldn't win, avoiding the question of when everything will be restored, never speaking to her people by letting them know. We always walk in the dark with her, I wish her father were still alive. She's weak, now ever since the dark age war rouwell went into hiding from wars. Fighting the strongest empire system, brinwah. We are weak now. But I will restore the great land that was once strong like iron, taking down weak yoolie, and ruling over the lands as they should be. Along side y/n who will be my empress along side me. As for her kingdom, she decides what ever she will do with that retched kingdom. For all she should really know, and what I will tell her, her mother and father are dead.
Now as we ride down the trail, we check the snow for tracks to see that they were led to this small town in an inn.
I got off my high horse, my men stay here while me and sora go inside the inn to interrogate the keeper.
We bust the door open and see the startled woman at her station as she stared at us with wide eyes.
"Hello miss, sir kenji will like to have a word with you." Sora introduced with an intimidating stare as he stood along side me with a courageous stance. She looked at him, then at me with terror in her eyes that I can see from a mile away. "I'm sorry I have nothing to say. You're going to have to leave." She said, trying to leave her quarters, frankly it's obvious she's hiding something. "We're tracking down a man and a woman. The lady being a princess, do you know where they might have gone?" She shakes her head violently and shuts the door behind her. I chuckled and look at sora with a nod who nods back at me. Using all his might, he used his right foot to kick down the door.
We heard a gentle scream from the corner of the right side of the room.
"Its rude not to answer a question." I smirked at her, walking to her and grabbing her throat tightly and picking her up with my strength. Choking her violently she tried to breath but couldn't until I found the mercy to let her be.
I threw her to the ground and looked at her with a laugh erupting from me as I kneel down her as she coughed and tried to breath.
"Now, ready to answer?"
She looked at me with terror before telling me where she could have gone.
"Amden...I believe..." she says weakly, thankful for her cooperation but not so thankful for her reckless way of refusing my questioning.
"Good."
With that information of course not everyone made it unharmed here. When we left, she was left with her frozen body laying there with that same face of terror written on her face.
Now we head off to the kingdom of amden. As we were on this journey for a long while of riding we stumble across these woods. As we take our horses inside, we see tracks leading through here until they stop and we see ripped up, dead vines laying on the ground. Someone was here and made the mistake of going through these parts, I can only imagine it was y/n and her escort. There shouldn't be anymore vines coming, but of course I was wrong.
They attacked from each angle of the trees but I wasn't going down. Taking my sword I quickly jump off my horse and cut them down along side my men and sora. Some have fallen and were taken by these vines never to be seen again.
It soon came to an end when all the vines were down on the ground and some had retreated back into the trees where they came from. With the only men I have along with sora, we made it out of these woods but have a long way to go to get to amden.
But Im willing to go very far to get to her. She will be mine and only mine until the days turn grey and the end comes. Y/n loves me, she's just naive to what love REALLY is.
