Episode 30

(Yoolie's pov)

"It was not enough my Lord! It could only fulfill one kingdom! One!" I yell around the table as everyone watches in anger. "Yoolie, it's all we cou-" "no! You have plenty! Even back up supplies and you give me that?!" The overlord sighed and rubbed his temples, frustrated with my yelling. "Don't act like YOUR frustrated! My people are hurting! And you want to send me only FEW Supplies?!" One emperor stands up and looks me dead in the eyes. "Yoolie! It's all we can provide!" I snapped my head towards him and clenched my fists. "You ALL provided NOTHING! Only the overlord did and he didn't even provide ENOUGH!" I yelled angrily and he folded his arms. "Yoolie, we don't have enough! There's only so much-" "Don't even start with me! Give me and my people Supplies! I know you have enough Supplies! We. Are. Suffering!" I counter him and the overlord stood up straight, looking at us both. "Yoolie, we cannot provide enough. We can only provide so much for you and ourselves to prepare for the winter." I feel helpless in this situation, these people don't even want to help my empire. Or anything to do with it, they only think about themselves and it's frustrating. Why can't I have my way? I can't I have help? "This council was made to help our empires, and to help each other right? So why is it not doing what it was made to do?" Everyone went silent as i asked this until the overlord spoke up. "Yoolie, again, we can only do so much right now. This event was sudden. Yoolie i really wish I could help more. But your on your own now." With that the council was dismissed before I could say anything else and everyone was out the door with me standing there, angry and sad by how this all ended up to be.
"Lets go." Edwin says and I nodded, leaving the grand palace and going back home.
Once we were back we head inside and we shut the doors, locking them up and we walk up the steps. For awhile I'm looking out the window and seeing the snow blaze through out the lands. I order the soldiers to send out what supplies we have out to all the kingdoms. With two packages each even if It weren't enough.
Edwin walked inside and looked at me. "What shall we do?" He asked and I emotionally looked out the window. "Shut the borders."

(Y/n's pov)

The night rolled around and some of the women offered to help me with my festival attire, some even helped Jack with his clothes to wear for the night. Torches were being prepared so we can see. The fire is getting started and the instruments are being set out of the people who normally play and more were coming out.
My dress and bigger and better then ever. It was beautiful, they did my hair neatly for me and they put jewels in my hair, around my neck and my wrists.
"Beautiful you look yeah?" A woman asks and I nodded as I stare at myself in the mirror. One suddenly reaches in my bag and grabs my damthril princess crown. I rushed to grab it from her. "No don't tou-" she looked at me and I stopped, she held her arm out in front of me and she gently placed the crown on top of my head and turned me around. "Wear beautiful crown princess." I stared at myself as my eyes began to tear up. I see myself as princess again even though I should have been queen already. I feel like i was back but I really wasn't. My crown was something i value so much because it was the one thing I have close to damthril and family. With it being on my head right now makes me emotional and it makes me happy because i feel close to home.
"Beautiful." She says and the other women agree with her, making a tear jerk in my eyes. "Thank you." I say, bowing in front of them with a wide smile. They bow to me and the door opens, seeing Jack walk inside. The women rush out to give us some alone time. "Woah, you look so beautiful." Jack said with a smile as he walked closer to me which made me smile even more. This is as wide as my smile could get at this point. It was going to hurt if I stopped. "Eugene is coming to the festival, I think he's going to love what you're wearing." This made me even more excited since Eugene was actually coming to the festival to loosen up. I had hoped he would after Jack talked to him.
"Thank you for talking to him." He nods when I say this, bowing to me with a smirk. "Its what friends are for, right?" I giggled and hugged him tightly and he hugged me back. He's my best friend at this point. Jack helped me so much and he's just been there for me alot.
"Lets go outside." I agreed and we walked outside to the bonfire, seeing people dancing, singing, and the music playing loudly. It's what I love to see.

(Eugene's pov)

I had asked for help of what I should wear and they put me in a what seems to be their formal attire, they messed around with my hair. "White hair ugly." A woman says and I glare viciously at her. "Excuse me?" She put a hand on her hip and gave me a sassy look. "You hair ugly." She sat me down and started touching it. "Color change." I stood up and deny. "No, please don't." She looked at me and sat me down again and looked me in the eyes. "Hair color change for princess. Brown look good." Maybe she was right, it was time for a change. But how will she change it? She turned the chair around and touches my hair and started to chant in tongues which freaked me out a bit. But when she stopped, she put a mirror in front of me and revealed my brown hair. I looked totally different. "Perfect." It didn't look that bad, I'm not going to lie. "Now we give earring." She then pierces my right ear with a long earring. "No weapon, have fun. Okay?" I nodded and she left the room and with that, i snuck a dagger in my pocket and I kept my window open so that if something happens i can already slip inside, grab my swords and slip out. I walked out of the door hoping y/n is going to like my new look and like how I'm going to treat her. She's going to feel so special tonight. I'm going to let loose but not too loose. I'm outside and I see everyone having fun, y/n and Jack were sitting down and looking around. She seemed to be looking for someone and I could only imagine who that someone could be.

(Y/n's pov)

I was looking around for eugene, hoping he was ACTUALLY coming. I hear footsteps coming towards me and i looked over to see eugene standing there, sitting next to me and I grinned, hugging him tightly. "Thank you for coming." I told him happily and he wrapped his arms around me. "No need to thank me." The music continued and Jack looked at us, looking at me he gestures to the middle to dance. I looked at eugene and cleared my throat but before I said anything he stood up and held his hand out to me. "May I have this dance?" He asked and the music turned slower and everyone stood up to have a slow dance. "You may." I smiled and took his hand gently and he led me out to the middle to have such a special dance with the most handsome man I could ever meet.
He takes my left hand and I put my right hand on his shoulder as hisbother wrapped around my waist. The music was beautifully slow and smooth, we swayed together as his feet led mine. I followed after him as we danced together lightly and smoothly. I rest my head in his shoulder as we danced together and he hummed softly. I then looked at him to ask what was wrong but I only found the rarest sight to see. A wonderful bright smile on his face as he looked down at me. The wind seemed to be calmer the usual, the moonlight perfectly shined through the clouds. This moment just felt so surreal and perfect. I completely forgot why I was here but I didn't care as long as i was with eugene I felt complete.
He then twirled me around in the moonlight and brought me back in and we both swayed with each other and danced perfectly. I smiled at him and he smiled back at me, making my heart race faster and faster as I'm seeing his perfect and beautiful smile.
The music slowly stopped and started to faded we stopped as well slowly and me and Eugene were looking right into each other eyes. Not even sparing a glance the other way, we were locked together. I felt one with him. I wanted more. So we both drew closer together until the best moment of my life happened.
