((Y/N)'s POV):
I woke up in a hospital bed. My eyes took a second to focus in the bright light
"Guys! She's awake!" I heard Chica's voice. I didn't really know what was happening until I saw them all at my side...all, except one.
"Hey, (Y/N)." Gordon smiled and spoke softly. "How are you feeling?"
I sat up, and noticed my leg was wrapped up, and there was an I.V. in my arm.
"Is Bonnie okay??" I asked, as the last thing I really remembered was Bonnie getting thrown against the wall.
"I'm okay, (Y/N)." Bonnie gently placed his hand on my arm.
"And Ennard??"
"They are gone." Marty replied. "I don't sense them anymore."
"Good..." I sighed a sigh of relief, and sat back on the bed's pillow.
"You've been out for a couple o' days." Foxy pointed out. "They had to give you stitches for your leg. They said there is nerve damage so you should take it easy."
"Did they say when I could go home?" I asked. I didn't want to stay there any longer than I had to.
"It depended on when you woke up.. It could be a couple of days after." Chica explained. "It'll be just in time for your birthday!"
"My..." I didn't really want to celebrate my birthday, since Uncle wouldn't be there. "Guys....where is Freddy?"
They all looked at eachother, as if they were having a silent debate amongst themselves to decide who was going to tell me.
"Freddy...he stayed behind." Marty explained. My heart felt like it stopped beating all together. He then continued, "To ensure that Ennard didn't get back up, Freddy stayed."
"But...but we set the place on fire didn't we?? He-- Where is he??" I couldn't stop the tears. The answer was obvious. If he had stayed behind in the fire, there was no way he survived.
"He wanted us to tell you...that he loves you very much." Gordon explained.
First Uncle...now Freddy. And it was all to protect me. There were no words to describe how low I felt.
________A Few days later I was able to go home. My birthday was the next day.
I had to have crutches for a while, as it hurt immensely to walk, and I needed to stay off my injured leg, so the nerves could properly heal. Everyone helped me around, which was pretty great too.
"Take me back to the pizzeria, guys." I demanded out of the blue.
"What?" Bonnie seemed almost shocked that I had said that. "What would we gain by going back now?"
"Closure." I folded my hands. "I want to see with my own eyes...that Ennard is gone. And that Freddy..." I looked away. "Please just take me there."
Gordon, Bonnie, and Foxy decided to escort me while Chica and Marty stayed home. They helped me in and out of the car, ans held doors for me. To be honest, I felt a bit like royalty.
We entered the elevator, the lingering smell of smoke was strong as hell. I was thankful, that the fire was contained in the facility and hadn't spread upstairs. The only trace that that there was even a fire at all, was the smoke.
The elevator squeaked and rumbled as it descended. When we hit the bottom and the door opened, we stepped into another cloud of smoke.
"Freddy??" I called, and there was no answer. I couldn't see very well in there. I tried to wave some smoke out of my face, but it only worked for a second.
"I turned on the air conditioning!" Bonnie called from what was left of the main control office. "Hopefully, the smoke will clear soon"
About 10 minutes later, the smoke hadn't cleared all the way, but it was clear enough to see.
"That's where Ennard was." Gordon pointed to a now melted metal mess. There were traces of the wire and junk they were made out of, and the face mask which was mostly burned. Ennard was gone, thank God.
I looked nearby, I could see Freddy Fazbear laying on the floor, no eyes, and his jaw had melted off its hinges
"Oh Freddy..." I knelt next to him, held his head in my arms, and cradled him. Thank you for everything. Thank you for what you did all those years ago to ensure my saftety, and thank you for making sure Ennard didn't get away." I cried. "I love you so much..." I tried to say through my small hiccup-like breathing. "Thank you, Freddy...I'm so sorry!" I held him tighter.
"We'll fix him right back up, won't we (Y/N)?" Foxy asked.
"Yes..." I sniffled. "Yes we will."
Bonnie and Gordon helped me back up so we could get back on the elevator and leave. I didn't want to leave Freddy down there a second time, but my Freddy wasn't there anymore.
"We'll come back with everyone else later." Gordon assured me. "So that we can bring him back up and put him back with the others."
"Thank you guys..." I sobbed.
The elevator door opened.
"(Y/N)...?" I heard.
"Huh?" I turned to face the three that brought me there. They looked at me like I was crazy for a minute.
"We didn't say anything..." Foxy said.
"Huh...I must have imagined it." I pushed the button to close the door.
"(Y/N) is that you? Are you there?" I heard as the elevator door almost closed. I jolted out of the elevator right before it closed, leaving Foxy, Bonnie and Gordon to return upstairs without me.
I went back to Freddy's body.
"Freddy??" I called, even though I was standing over him.
"(Y/N)...?" he sounded so tired, like he had lost his energy. "I can't see..."
"It's me, Freddy." I held him again and sobbed. "I will never leave you again."
