Foxy and Chica were the voice of reason. As they tried to talk me out of being so excited, and told me that I should be more suspicious as we didn't know them; but somehow, they knew me.
We went into Ballora Gallery, and everything was lit up, just like I thought it would be after restoring the power. There, on the other side of the room, I saw Ballora, spinning and dancing like a ballerina. She was enchanting, and beautiful. And her music wad almost hypnotic.
"Hello, (Y/N)..." Ballora spoke softly after turning in our direction. Her eyes didn't open, but she knew I was there. Strangely though, she didn't seem to notice Foxy and Chica standing right next to her.
"Wow! You're beautiful!" I folded my hands together. When I got a look at her up close, she was not only beautiful, but she was VERY tall!
"Thank you. As are you."
"How do you all know her??" Chica grabbed onto my arm and yelled at Ballora who didn't even acknowledge the fact that she had spoken. "Hello???"
"Tell me, (Y/N)...what is it that you are doing for your birthday?"
Foxy, Chica and I looked at eachother, then back at Ballora, shocked. Why was she just ignoring them?
"Oh you know...party stuff." I laughed.
"Perhaps...you could spend it here...with us."
Something about her voice was just so inviting. It made it hard to say no.
"Okay, I'll be here." I smiled. I couldn't help it.
"Are you serious???" Foxy shouted, probably a little louder than he had originally intended. (Y/N), we need to go." He began pulling me in the direction of the office.
"I need to go Ballora. But I'll be back tomorrow!" I waved as we made our way back to the vents.
"Save me a dance for another day, perhaps." She then continued to dance and twirl around the room as we left.
"(Y/N), are you alright?" Chica asked, concerned. "It was like whatever they told you, you were like a kid that didn't have a sense of danger. What's going on?"
"Huh? I was just really excited to meet new friends. I didn't know that was that strange." I pointed out. I was just trying to be friendly with them, after all.
"We don't know them, (Y/N) we don't even know if they're really on our side." Chica scolded as we entered the elevator through the vent.
"Oh, they're fine." I giggled. "What could go wrong?
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Chica and Foxy glance at eachother in a silent conversation amongst themselves.
When we got up top to everyone else, they were surprised that our venture into the unknown was so quick this time.
"We gotta talk about what we found this time." Foxy demanded and sat at one of the tables before anyone even had the chance to greet us.
"I agree..." Chica added.
"We met some new friends down there!" I just blurted out with the biggest smile.
"Oh did you?" Uncle laughed at my enthusiasm.
"Whatever they are, they have (Y/N) convinced they are her friends." Foxy got right to the point. "They know her name, they know when her birthday is, and I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow found out where she lives!"
"It's really not that bad..." I said. "I mean on the first night we went in there, you called to me a few times Chica. Maybe that's how they knew my name. Circus Baby did say that she would let all her buddies know we would be there. "
"You're delusional.."
"Hey. Before we start calling anyone names, maybe we should figure out what the hell is going on." Bonnie stepped in.
"Thank you." I smiled. "Well, we met a robot named Ballora, and another one named Funtime Freddy."
"A Freddy model?" Freddy asked. "Does he look like mine?"
"He has a hat and a microphone. That's about the extent of the details he shares with yours." I explained.
"Did you...like him?"
"He was nice." Was all I said in response to that. I wouldn't want Freddy somehow thinking that I was replacing him by befriending another Freddy.
"Can we talk about the serious stuff here??" Foxy yelled. "Like, the fact that for some reason, they only acknowledged (Y/N), even though we were right there and talking to them! Or the fact that Funtime Freddy sounded like an old record, but Ballora sounded like an actual person??"
"Foxy, calm down..." Uncle placed his hand on his shoulder in an attempt to tell him to slow down. "We will figure this out, we always do. You kids are the best team I've ever known. Let's not break it up over something like this. We need to keep level heads about finding out more. And (Y/N)..."
"Yes Uncle?"
"I know you're excited and you want to befriend the new animatronics you found...but please be careful, until we can confirm that they aren't dangerous. Will you do that? Foxy sounds like he's damn near having a heart attack."
"Foxy is just worried..." Chica pointed out. "And with what I just saw, the way they seemed to have a power over (Y/N)...I can see why. I'm worried too."
"Im fine, guys. But okay. I will do what you say and exercise a little more caution. " I kept my smile.
"Thank you, (Y/N)." Bonnie said. "You are...just too precious to us, you know?"
"I know. Thank you for worrying about me."
I could see where they were coming from, the way I was just always excited to be around the new robots. Normally I would have gathered more information and proceeded any situation with caution. But now, for some reason, I didn't care about all that. I just wanted to be happy with my new friends, and I didn't see the big deal in having fun. They made it sound as if the new animatronics could have killed me. For all I knew.
....could they?
