After the boys had tried on their clothes, and Chica and I modeled ours, we got to work looking for a house.
I had called the staff of the Pizzeria and let them know I was going to be AWOL for a few days, and let the managers and assistant managers handle it.
After much research and going over many options, we settled on a house out in the country, rather than the city. There, we made sure that there was room to go to war, should we need to. It was a cute little place with enough rooms for all of us.
The paperwork on the house would be closed in a few days after the purchase was confirmed. So that meant that we were stuck at the hotel for another week. I wasn't too upset though; I was actually finding it relaxing to be hiding away from all the responsibilities. It also helped that there was a pool and hot tub there.
__________
I was FINALLY able to take a shower!! I hopped in, and turned on the glorious steamy water! The water felt so good on my skin! There was only one thing missing;
"Chica! Is there any shampoo out there??" I called.
"Hm...nope! want me to run and get some?" he called back.
"Yes please!" I said, and heard her grab my keys, then head out the door. I was willing to wait for it....
....only, 2 Hours had passed since Chica had left. I knew she hadn't gotten lost, because there was GPS in the phone I had gotten her.
I turned the water off, thankfully there was still hot water left for me to be in there that long. I wrapped up in a towel and dried myself off, then got dressed in a newer outfit I had gotten myself. It was a (f/c) top and matching shorts. I knew I looked good in it.
After blow drying my hair with a blow dryer provided by the hotel, I decided to call Chica and ask where the heck she was. I picked up my phone, which was sitting on my pillow, on the charger. I saw that I had missed a few phone calls, and had one voice message. I called to check it.
"You have, 1 voice message. To listen to this message press 1."
I Pushed 1.
"(Y/N)....(Y/N) listen to me. He knows where we are at the hotel! He just jumped me in the parking lot at the mini mart down the road and locked me up." I heard Chica's voice cry. "He has a tracker on one of you, I heard him say it, as he brought me here. So find it before you go to the new house. I ...I don't know where I am, but don't try to find me. He will try to use me to get to you. Don't fall for it. He can't kill me, not anymore. So don't worry about me. I'll find my way back to you guys."
"End of message." the phone voice said, and then went on to list options about what to do with the new message. I just dropped to my knees in shock. Then, I got a message on my phone. It was a photo sent to me by Chica. I was hoping that she had sent directions or pictures of her surroundings so I frantically opened the message.
What I saw wasn't directions, or pictures of her surroundings. The picture I was looking at was Chica, beaten and bloody, tied to a chair. I looked at the address lines, and and noticed that that picture had been sent to everyone, not just me.
Before I knew it, everyone was banging on my door. It scared me, as I wasn't expecting it so suddenly and I hesitated to open the door, afraid it may have been Vincent.
I looked out the window and saw that it was just my family so I opened up the door. Freddy tackled me into his arms and assured me everything was going to be okay. I cried, as I didn't know what was going to become of Chica.
I let everyone hear the message that Chica had left me. I hoped that there was something I missed, that she may have said something about where she was somewhere in the message. I was wrong.
"Chica has a point..." Gordon pointed out. "He can't kill us. He is only using her to lure (Y/N) out."
"What are you saying?? Are you saying we should leave her there?" I asked.
"No, of course not." Freddy continued for Gordon. "We just need to be careful, because he knows he can get to you by hurting us."
"And what about this tracker she was talking about?" Bonnie asked. "She says it's on someone, but how would it have even gotten there, and when??"
"I don't know..." Gordon answered. "But we need to find it and then get out of here before he decides to try and attack (Y/N) here."
"Okay, everyone start looking!" Foxy yelled.
For some reason, we searched the rooms, and the new clothes we had gotten, though Vincent had no contact with them.
"On the force, we dealt with tracking devices all the time." Uncle pointed out. "When they came honing cases we had to solve, they were usually in the phone itself."
We took our phones apart and scanned for anything out of place. And lo and behold, my phone was the one with the tracker.
I almost threw my phone down and destroyed it, but Marty had come up with a better idea.
"What if we left it here?" he asked, and put the tracking device in a tv remote. "It'll atleast buy us some time."
"Good thinking, Marty." Uncle said "Now everyone, get all your things and let's find another hotel. Preferably one with security."
"Those fancy ones? You can't go in there Uncle." I reminded.
"Take me back to the pizzeria."
We had no idea what he was planning, but we did what he said, the 6 of us somehow having to cram into Uncle's truck. I drove, Freddy was in the passenger seat Bonnie, Marty and Foxy were in the back seat, and Uncle and Gordon were in the very back. We had just enough room, thankfully.
