(Y/N)'s POV)

Chica and I were getting snacks at the grocery store. I wanted so much junk food, but Chica said no, that I had to think about my health. And for a moment,  I resented her.

I finally agreed and we had finished our shopping without all the junk. I was proud of myself.

There was never a time that I didn't have fun with Chica. Even for something as simple as grocery shopping,  she knew how to make me laugh.

We decided to stop for lunch at a little diner, before making our way back home. We had just sat down and and ordered when my phone rang. I picked it up and looked at it.

"Oh. It's Marty." I smiled.

"Ooh! Ask him how his visit is going!"

"Hey Marty!" I answered. "How's the visi--"

"(Y/N)...are you sitting down?"

"Yes. Chica and I just stopped for lunch. What's up? Are you okay?"

"No...no, I'm not. I just-- can you pick me up?" He sounded as if he was going to cry.

"Sure. When?"

"As soon as you can..?"

"Yes, we'll be right there. "

"Thank you, (Y/N). I just need...alot of support right now. "

"Of course. We'll get our food,  and we'll be on our way." I hung up

"Is everything okay?" Chica asked.

"I'm not sure. Marty sounded kinda spooked. We should get our food to go, and head over there."

We did just that. We had the servers pack up our food so we could leave. We climbed into the truck and immediately made our way to Henry's house.

"I hope he's okay..." Chica mumbled as we knocked at the door. As soon as the door opened, Marty came bolting out and embraced me tightly.

"(Y/N)!" He yelled, tears streaming down his face.

"Marty..?" I held him gently, as Henry emerged from the door, wiping his own tears.

"We found out quite a bit about eachother today." Henry explained.

"Oh. Hello, Henry, good to see you! Thank you for Rockstar Bonnie." I smiled.

"You're welcome. I'm glad you took such a liking to him and put him in your establishment."

"It was alot of fun!" Chica smiled.

"So what happened here?" I asked.

"I think I will let ...marty.... explain what happened in the comfort of his own home." Henry replied.

Why did he say Marty's name like that?

"Okay. Keep in touch!" I kept my smile, and brushed some hair out of Marty's face, then wiped a few tears. "Marty, are you ready to go?"

He nodded a little, and Chica and I grabbed his hands to take him to the truck.

When we drove home, Marty was silent the whole way. Whatever was on his mind was weighing down on his thoughts. I hoped that we all could help him get through whatever it was.

When we got home and walked through the door, everyone was already in the kitchen,  trying to figure it out. It was a funny sight, as there were dirty dishes everywhere, but nothing actually cooked.

"Why didn't you guys order out or something?" I immediately laughed at the sight presented in front of me. Chica sighed.

"You guys are hopeless without me." She rolled her eyes, and grabbed her apron from a nearby hook. "Are you hungry Marty?"

"No...no I'm not thanks." Marty replied and went to the living room to sit on a couch.

"What's with him?" Uncle asked.

"Marty has something he wants to share with us. And it's something that has taken him and Henry by surprise." I explained.

As soon as chica made everyone something to eat,  we got our take out boxes too, so we could all listen to Marty over lunch.

"Okay, Marty,  what's this all about?" I asked, as I sat next to him.

"I...I'm not sure where to begin.." he wiped some tears off his face. "As you guys know, I'm the puppet. And I was, long before I gave life to any of you. But did you know...I came from somewhere? No one was there to give me life."

"Woah you were a person once??" Bonnie asked.

"It makes sense..." Gordon added. "We were all once people too. "

"Yes..." Marty then continued,  "well, remember the dreams I had mentioned? They weren't just dreams, they were memories. Before I was the puppet, I was Henry's daughter Charlie. I was the first to be killed by Vincent."

It was silent, and I swore I heard someone choking on their food.

"Wait you're...a girl?" Chica asked, a gleam in her eyes.

"I was, before I died.  I suppose I'm a boy now, because the puppet is."

"Make over!" Chica couldn't contain herself.

"Shopping!" I shouted.

"Wait you guys aren't freaked out about this?" Marty asked.

"Why would we be?" Uncle asked. "Its actually interesting to hear where you came from, sad as it is."

"Yep you're still our Marty!" I smiled. "Or Charlie,  whichever you wanna be called."

"Aside from the initial shock, I was worried what everyone would think.." he cried again. "I'm so happy."
