Jason explained to his parents why he returned home from school so early. They were mad at him, despite the issue not being his fault. He tried his best to convey that the intruder alarm went off, because a group of 18-20 year old men entered the school grounds unbidden. Rumour has it that Tellise knew these troublesome boys, so they came to visit her. No one knew why though.
Moreover, Jaesung knew that his parents weren't mad, because teachers had told students to go home, they were arguing. Again.

With a brief sigh, Jaesung took off his shoes, showered, dressed in basketball shorts and a T-shirt and began reading his book about The Mexican Slaves. He was infatuated with the novels, autobiographies and biographies of those whom endured slavery. He loved culture, yet he didn't focus his energy on the British, English culture truly- unless it involved something to do with power and control.
After house of reading in pure silence his belly tumbled, so he simply began to cook some food.

"I will make... spicy chicken and west and sour noodles. Or shall I make... stuffed dumplings with battered chicken balls?" I stood with his hand on his hip with the fridge door open and his head cocked to the side.

DING DONG

The doorbell rang. He scurried towards the door, looked through the peephole and was surprised on who it was.

"Hi." She smiled, shyly.

Is she blushing? He wowed mentally.

"Afternoon." He smiled genuinely, sucking in the air to radiate a cool and calm confidence. He looked past his sudden guest and noticed his parent's car was gone.
It explains the silence, he mentally sighed.

"Um.. I'm bored, like really bored. I also miss you and I was hoping if you wasn't busy that you could- maybe, if it's okay with your parents etc... oh my, I'm sorry- I'm waffling. Um.. do you want to hang out with me. Wait um, what I mean is would you like to hang out, IF you're not too busy." Fumbling with her fingers and looking towards the ground was definitely a different demeanour than what Jaesung was used to.

"Zipporah, you're cute when you're shy. Oh my gooodness! Did I just say that out loud?" With a hot pink face, Jaesung pinched himself- hands behind his back.

Zipporah laughed and perked up like the sun beaming through the clouds. At least he was able to make her laugh genuinely, even if it required him to humiliate himself. Nevertheless, he was glad, because he was the shy one not her. He didn't want her to be shy and timid around him. He loved her fiery energy that didn't fall prior to this moment, because he feed from it like a baby on its mother's tit.

"So what do you say? Wanna hang out?" She shrugged and smiled. A hypnotising smile that contained dimples to the cheeks and her eyes to crease at the sides. Cute he thought again, but made shut his mouth was shut.

"Sure. Come in, I'm about to make lunch." He stood to the side and kept the door open for her to walk in. She walked into the small cold abode hesitantly.

"Shouldn't you ask your parents before you just invite me round?" She worried.

Jaesung ignored the falter in her voice and gave her a reassuring smile. When has she become so conscious?

"They're out." He turned around, reopening the fridge to take out his ingredients.

"Maybe you should call them?" She shrugged, not that he saw.
"Wouldn't they find it disrespectful if they came home to an uninvited guest? Especially without permission." She began nipping her nails.

"No. I will just tell them I got bored and I knocked for you. Plus my mam likes ya." He said dismissively.

Zipporah felt adrenaline pump through her veins and he breathing become uneven.
