9 ☆ Realization

"Oh Eduardo!"
Richie comes out, green uniform shirt unbuttoned exposing his white t-shirt the safari hat nowhere to be seen.
"You ready for some good ole dole whip"
Richie says putting his arm around Eddie and starting to walk out. Eddie holds on to Richie's arm.
"Yes please"
Eddie says a bit dramatically. Richie laughs and they walk like that towards the tiki room that isn't as busy around this time.
"Thank goodness you work in adventure land so we don't have to walk too far."
Richie stops and turns Eddie holding his shoulders.
"Wait Eddie is your leg hurting? Eds you could've told me and I would just have gone and gotten one for you"
Eddie rolls his eyes and pulls Richie's arm back around him and starts walking.
"No I'm fine I was just saying if it was farther I probably couldn't make it"
"Eddie I know your leg is hurting you can't hide that from me"
Eddie rolls his eyes as they walk into the tiki room
"Just buy my dole whip asshat"
They go in Eddie orders his raspberry and Richie gets his pineapple paying for Eddie and himself.
"Thank you"
Eddie says, smiling and eating as they walk down towards The break room/dressing room by the castle.
"Hey Eddie!"
Will comes up from behind them and starts walking with them
"Hey will!"
"I just finished walking Patty to a princess thing."
Eddie takes a bite and looks at Richie who suddenly finds the floor very interesting.
"That's cool Richie and I were craving dole whips."
Will laughs a little
"I've actually never had the raspberry one"
Eddie gasps and looks at Will and Richie laughs at his dramatics and finally decides to look at the two just to see Eddie's shocked face.
"Ok consider your life forever changed"
Eddie takes a bit on his spoon and feeds it to will. Richie suddenly gets mad and doesn't really know why.
"Oh my god that's actually so good"
Will says covering his mouth.
"Eds give me a bite"
Richie says opening his mouth Eddie rolls his eyes and feeds some to Richie and Will scowls so only Richie could see it.
"Jeez you two are gonna eat all my food"
The two taller boys laugh as they walk into the dressing room. They stop at the door.
"Eddie. You were supposed to be resting then I hear your hoeing around with those two"
Eddie looks down and slumps towards the table sitting down in a chair.
"I'm sorry... I just wanted to see Richie's thing and get some dole whip"
Stan sighs as the other two boys sit on either side of Eddie.
"I'm letting it slide today but not again the doctor said you needed to rest your leg"
Eddie sadly agrees.
"Don't worry Eds I'll come bring you snacks after every shift"
Richie says and Will nods
"Yeah and I'm in here all the time"
Eddie smiles at the two
"Thanks guys"
"Ok well come on you three we're going home"
Stan grabs Richie and bills shirt collars and picks them up from the table. Eddie laughs and stands.
"See you later Will!"
Eddie waves and the four go home.
Later that night~ Bill And Eddie are playing a game as Stan and Richie stand in the kitchen making small personal pizzas for dinner.
"So what do you think of will?"
Riche chuckles
"Bill asked the same question, but I don't know he glares at me any time I talk to Eddie. It's weird I don't like it, like can I not talk to Eddie? Last time I checked he was MY best friend ."
Stan nods
"Maybe he's jealous maybe he likes Eddie"
Richie shakes his head no.
"Well Eddie won't date anyone who doesn't like me"
Richie says in denial Stan talks under his breath.
"He won't date anyone who isn't you."
"What?
"Never mind, don't sweat it Richie"
Richie slides the four pizzas in the oven.
"I'm not sweating anything just... Expressing concern"
