The alarm blares on Richie's night stand.
"I don't wanna"
Eddie groans, turning. Richie snickers before standing up turning off the alarm. Richie puts on a black queen shirt then pulls in his classic Hawaiian shirt sliding his denim jacket over and dark washed jeans with converse.
"It's like 12 this would be the fourth snooze. Come on We gotta go grocery shopping, remember? I need you to be my little cart pusher"
Eddie rolls his eyes and sits up going to his dresser. He pulls on mom jeans and a white collared shirt putting a mint crew neck over. He cuffed his jeans pulling up socks and putting his high tops on.
Richie turns to face Eddie.
"Dressing so fashionable today? I like that sweatshirt it's cute"
Eddie blushes and turns back, picking up a comb from his dresser he tries to make his hair tolerable.
"Well you know I uh, I haven't like worn clothes in two days I wanted to feel good about myself"
He quickly sprays his sweet smelling cologne that could be mistaken for perfume if you didn't know and turns back to Richie who was staring but turned his head to the door when Eddie turned around.
"Let's head head out"
Richie rubbed his neck and walked out of the room Eddie following close behind.
"T-there you are. A-are you going? H-here take this I-it's the list for stans l-lasagna."
Eddie takes it and puts it in his pocket. Mike walks out from the bathroom.
"OoOoo Eddie look at you cutie, what a fit"
Mike says taking Eddie's hand and holding it above his head, queuing Eddie to spin which Eddie does and giggles. Bill walks up and pushes Mike back by wrapping his arms around his waist hugging him.
"Get your o-own boyfriend Eddie, c-call will or s-s-something or get R-Richie to call you c-cute"
Mike laughs and wraps his arms around pouty Bill.
"Jealous are we? Don't worry nobody can be cuter than you babe"
Mike says softly to Bill. Eddie sticks a finger in his throat and mimics gagging.
"Oh shut up Eddie you know if you had a man you'd be hanging on him 24/7"
Eddie grabs Stanley's keys (the only other person allowed to drive Stan's car) as Richie opens the door.
"Alright Bill you can't use the truth against me"
Eddie says walking out Richie closing the door behind them and laughing.
When they sit in the car pulling out of the lot.
"I bet you'd be so needy in a relationship ship Eds"
Eddie rolls his eyes.
"Yeah probably but I'd also be a sassy asshole"
Richie laughs nodding.
They park and get out. Eddie tosses the keys to Richie who will ultimately be driving home due to Eddie not really enjoying driving so he cheats stans rule. Eddie grabs the cart and they start walking down the isles of the fairly empty store.
They tackle Stan's list first then they start on Richie's snack list. Eddie standing in the metal bar and pushing off the ground to propel him across the aisle.
They get some chips and big liter drinks and start to get the actual ingredients.
"Your having way too much fun Eddie, my turn"
Eddie shakes his head.
"No way! You dragged me here"
Richie rolls his eyes and places a bag of potatoes in the cart
"Fine step up then Spageddie get ready for the ride of your life"
Eddie puts both feet on the support bar and holds on the handles. Richie puts his hands on either side of Eddie who's face immediately goes red.
"I-I um ok"
Richie pushes the cart while grabbing things off the shelves and. He playfully keeps bumping Eddie with his chest making Eddie fall forward a bit.
"Stop that Richie"
"I'm just messing with ya Eds. I'm ready to checkout you might wanna hop off now"
Eddie hops off placing a hand on the side of the cart.
"I was having fun"
Eddie pretends pouts and Richie rolls his eyes. They check out and unload into the car Richie sliding in the driver's seat and Eddie in the passenger. They had been shopping for so long trying to figure out Stan's list that the sun was sitting a bit lower in the sky.
"Alright I have one pit stop for ya Eds"
"Don't call me that and you know I don't like surprises Rich"
Richie rolls his eyes and pulls into the drive through of Dairy Queen.
"What if it involves delicious frozen treats my good sir!"
"Maybe I like it then especially if you're paying?"
Richie laughs and rolls his eyes
"Yeah, yeah what do you want?"
"Cheesecake"
Eddie says with a toothy smile.
"I should've guessed"
Richie orders that and his own Oreo Blizzard and they drive till the sun goes down and finish their ice cream. They get home and head to bed.
All of Wednesday is filled with Richie cooking snacks and Bill driving around with Eddie to find Stans specific ham for Christmas dinner before the party. Stan was with Pattys family for an early Christmas because it's Pattys turn to spend it with Stan. Soon they were all heading to bed before Christmas Eve. Eddie and Richie finish reading their book and settle in for bed.
"I'm so excited for tomorrow  just the losers matching pajamas hot cocoa and Christmas movies"
Richie and Eddie both smile
"Yeah then dinner and THE BEST PARTY EVER!"
Eddie laughs and closes his eyes.
"Yeah, I'm gonna go to bed, night Rich"
"Goodnight Eds sleep tight and I'll make sure the bed bugs don't bite"
Eddie laughs and both of them fall asleep.
