My Best Friend's Brother (...on hold)

Band aids

       After getting all my stuff ready in the guest room Saffarra finally appeared. "What took you so long?" I asked her.

      "What do you mean what took me so long?" She said and jumped onto the bed.

     "Well, while you were off doing whatever you were doing,  I had an encounter with your brother." I said

        "I litterley don't know why you guys hate each other so much." She said. "Sometimes it gets old to hear you two fighting. You guys are like an old married couple."

        I gasped "Never, and I mean never, say that we are maried. Cause I will fucking punch you in the face."

     "Well, looks like somoene is a little touchy on the subject." She smirked at me while emphasizing the word someone.

         "I can't believe you haven't noticed until now." I gave her look. She stuck her tounge out at me and i flipped her the bird.

     She started laughing "Very, mature Bea."

      "So is sticking your tounge out." I replied. "So do you want to gorge on some Ben and Jerry's while we watch some episodes of Two and a Half Men?" I asked knowing how much she loves to watch the show.

      She stiffened "Um, I think I'll pass. I need to go."

     I gave her my wide eyed look "So you're leaving me here with him?" I yelped.

        She started teasing me " I think you'll live. I just need to head out for a while." She started walking then stopped "When I come back and see if there are cops outside the house, I know that you guys killed each other."

       I started cracking up and raised my hand " I, Beatrice Claire Grayson, here by swear to oath that I will not kill my friends brother. Or do so in any way." I gave her my most serious face.

    "You better not. Or you will have to deal with me." She said and headed out.

        "Im so scared!" I said sarcastically.

       "You better be!" Saffarra called out. "Ethan! You better not kill her!"

      "Can't make any promises!" He responded. Jerk.

     An hour passed by and even though Fairytail was a good show I needed to get up and move. My stomach growled.  Man I am starving.

      I headed out of my 'room' and went down the stairs into the kitchen. I scanned the contents in the fridge. Hmm, what should I make? Then I spotted the noodles. Chicken Alfredo! Yes, I am soo down for that.

      I gathered all the stuff I needed to make Chicken Alfredo. I started boiling the noodles and cutting the chicken then I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand. And I knew someone was watching me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

    "RAAAAA!" Somebody yelled behind me. I screamed and dropped the knife I was holding to cut the chicken. I turned around and it was Ethan!

      "Oh my fucking god! Why did you that!" I yelled. He was smiling at me.

      "Because I wanted to..." He said as if that answered the question. I picked up the knife from the floor.

     "You are lucky that I promised your sister that I wouldn't kill you." I hissed at him.

     He smirked at me. "What are you making? It smells good."

     "Chicken Alfredo." I responded. "And for scaring me you aren't getting any." My hand started to sting and I looked at it and saw blood. Shit. This is great.

     Ethan looked at my hand "You need a band aid."

    My temper with him is very short. "No shit sherlock."

      Ethan left and came back with the first aid kit. He grabbed a band aid out of the box. "Here."

       I gave him my hand and his fingers gingerly put the band aid on my hand. His hand was warm compared to my cold one.

       "Thank you."  I whispered.

       "No problem." He said and yet again Ethan Parker left the room and also left me speechless.
