Deep in 8-Bit's files, a monster slid out, stretching its arms. It had been too long since it could be in a host.
About a year ago,Pam's computer had been infected by this beast of a virus, but she had entrapped it in a yellow-striped disc, thrown it into a storeroom...
It had stayed, not asleep, but training to become a better, stronger and more malicious virus. Days passed since it was placed into a computer. But here he was.
He had found himself in a computer, but couldn't get out due to the antivirus police patrolling the discs.
But soon, he was placed into the files of this vulnerable machine...
The monster curled its lips into a crooked smile.
Time to test my training.

"Jessie? Hello?" Tara asked.
"Maybe the story hasn't ended yet," Bibi thought. "OH! Maybe... There's like, another boss coming! Anytime soon! Like....RIGHT NOW!"
She swung her sword behind her. But there was nothing. In fact, the entire battlefield was deserted of any beings, big or small.
Tara sighed," Maybe there's some kind of problem which Jessie is fixing, leave it and wait."

8-Bit's systems were complicated. He had a thousand Mini 8-Bits as patrol to compromise the antivirus protection, which kept being rejected by his system for some reason.
Mini 8-Bit #419 loved patrolling the files in his master's system. Sure, the salary wasn't much, but he could go to a nearby cafe for a quick byte.(pun obviously intended)He walked around the system, seriously considering to get a burger.
A step was heard. He swiveled around, pointing his gun towards the source of the sound. It was nothing. He shrugged and walked off.
But he felt an odd feeling that something, someone watching him...

Even viruses have their own flaws. Even though he could manifest this entire machine, he had to find a vessel first. He couldn't survive on its own for 10 minutes. He considered using a random file as a vessel when he found the perfect victim.
However, this little victim was quite the cautious one. The virus nearly got himself spotted himself. He hid inside a nearby file.
As the victim turned, he pounced and possessed him.
He nearly alerted everyone with his screams, but the monster virus covered his mouth and started to infect him. The body of his victim as changed to fit his body. A black and green covering of pixels covered his body. He started growing spikes and reforming his legs.
Perfect... let's infect another one,shan't I?

Mr. Bat flew through the air, only to come back to Bibi's hand.
"You know, I guess I'll miss this skin when we return back to reality," Bibi sighed as she did the same thing again."If this kind of thing happens, I'd be in first place in every single showdown!"
"Yeah,"Tara agreed.
Her floating cards could put some wow factor in her tarot readings. She wasn't wanting it for the extra money, no. She wanted to see their surprised faces as they foresaw their own future. She laughed silently as she thought about it.
Suddenly, a light green portal appeared in front of them with a explosion of pixels.
"Would ya look at that! Jess fixed the problem!"Bibi exclaimed."Thanks, Jess!"

"I did?" Jessie mumbled from the outside. Maybe the system was just lagging, just like how she got last place in showdown most of the time.
Wait a sec--
ISN'T IT SUPPOSED TO BE A "EXIT" BUTTON AND NOT A PORTAL?!
"Wait, guys!" Jessie whisper-screamed. She realised she didn't have her microphone and groaned.
She walked around her bedroom to find it. Could it be under her desk? Next to 8-Bit? Or maybe--
Crunch.
She looked down, under her foot. The broken microphone sparked, its green light dying.
Well, shoot.

"Thank the gods we're going home!" Tara mumbled as she walked towards the portal.
"Yep," Bibi said as she ran towards it. " But--AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
Tara was shocked by the sudden scream from her friend. Bibi turned around, a few blaster shots embedded in her shoulder. She coughed twice. Tara immediately activated Healing Shade for Bibi.
"WHO WAS THAT?!" Tara cried. She sounded almost demonic, her voice as piercing as her tarot cards, which she threw at the portal.
Tara was still raging, continuing to fling her cards. She expected the offender to fall flat from the portal, and this chaos to all end.
But this wasn't ANYTHING she expected at all.
