"I want my ears pierced too!" Time said with a pout to his parents.

Everyone looked at him in surprise.

"Time, that's cute, but don't you want to wait a bit?" Mom asked with a smile on her face.

Time shook his head indignantly.

"Sky's got cool earrings! And I want it too!"

The person in question just tilted his head cutely, small studs glittering on his pointed ears. In fact, he just got them a few days ago, while also receiving envious glares from his younger brothers and amazed looks from Zelda along with it. A three-in-one package, that's what it was.

Dad chuckled.

"He's six years old. Besides," Dad lowered his voice, "don't earrings make him look girly? I think it's more manly if your ears aren't pierced."

Time frowned and thought.

"No. Zelda doesn't wear earrings and she doesn't look manly. So I'd say wearing earrings doesn't make you look like a girl." he pointed out.

Mom laughed and pulled his cheeks.

"You're smart. If you insist, then we might let you wear earrings." she said and ruffled his head.

"Hang on a sec, if he's getting earrings then I am too!" Twi interrupted, putting his hands on his hips and making an angry face. Although we all know it looks adorable on him.

Mom and Dad just glanced at each other and smiled, shrugging.

"Whatever you say, dear. There's no turning back, so be careful on your decisions." Mom smiled gently and picked Wild on her arms.

Wild, who was paying attention to the conversation this whole time, nudged his mom and whispered something to her. And then she stared at him wide-eyed.

"You too?" she asked in surprise.

Even everyone was surprised by this.

"Sweetie, I know you don't want to lose from your brothers," Mom began and shot Dad a look that says 'It's in your blood. Don't even try to deny it.' and continued, "but aren't you rushing this? I promise we'll give you earrings when you're older."

Wild sad-faced at her.

"Please?"

Both Mom and Dad looked at his pleading face, with the puppy dog eyes. They both were charmed at first glance.

"And here I see a patent Link puppy dog eyes that no one can ever refuse to." Mom nudged Dad with a glare and smiled at the same time.

"Alright, we can't say no to you. Isn't that right, Wild?" Dad booped his youngest son's nose playfully.

"But! In exchange for the earrings, you have to cut your hair!" Mom set him down.

Wild's eyes widened in surprise and he clutched his sideburns.

"But… I like it this way." he looked down.

His brothers shielded him.

"No, he looks nicer this way!" Twi said indignantly.

"He's more like a girl with long hair, so that's a good thing." Time said, smirking.

"I can't say no to that." Sky yawned.
