[Camille.]

A million thoughts were going around in my head, trying to figure out why Harry would leave so suddenly. Had he grown tired of me already?

“Cami?” the voice on the other side said. “Your silence tells me you’re worrying. Don’t, ok? I’m coming back tomorrow.”

Oh. Well I couldn’t deny that I felt relieved when he said that.

“You thought I had left, didn’t you?” he rather stated than asked.

“Well…” Yes, I did think that. But it was a logical thought, wasn’t it?

“Oh come on Cami, give me a little more credit here. I wouldn’t leave you just like that. I got an urgent call yesterday and took the first train this morning. Sorry for not having time to tell you, it’s been quite hectic.”

“No problem, but care to explain me why you’re in London? Because I’m still confused.”

“Oh yeah, of course. Well Niall called me yesterday to ask me if he could come to my house before we had to get ready for the Brits. That’s when I realized I had completely forgotten we had to be there.”

I suddenly remembered the event too, Abby had mentioned something about a livestream she would watch. Maybe I could invite her to my flat so we could watch it together, I know she’d like that.

Harry and I talked a while about the Brit Awards  until we were interrupted by people telling him to get ready. Before I hung up I promised him that I would watch the livestream because One Direction were nominated a few times and Harry wanted me to root for them.

After our call I quickly sent Abby a message which she replied immediately, telling me she’d come by this evening. It was still a few hours until the Brits so I decided to revise some of this week’s classes since I had some catching up to do.

There was a loud knock on the door and I immediately jumped out of my seat to let Abby in. She squealed as soon as I had opened the door and ran up to me to give me a tight hug.

“Cami! I missed you so much!”

“Missed you too lil’ sis.” I returned.

“So, is everything set up?” she said and I could tell she was very excited about this. It’s cute seeing her like this. She absolutely adores those boys. I haven’t told her about me knowing Harry though. I know I can trust her but I don’t think Harry would want me to reveal his secret location. It’s not my place to tell either. So I kept quiet  about him as I placed my laptop on the small table in front of my couch.

After opening the right website I saw that there were still a few minutes left so I quickly got some snacks out of the kitchen before I sat down next to Abby.

We were about twenty minutes into the show when One Direction appeared on the computer screen and Abby let out a small scream. The five lads were sitting around a table talking about the Brits and I couldn’t help but notice how good they all looked, especially Harry. His hair wasn’t covered by a bandana or beanie like it usually was, but it was combed back and I must say I liked it much better that way. Thankfully James Cordon, the one hosting the Brits and interviewing the boys, didn’t ask anything about Harry disappearing for a while. It wasn’t a big deal anyway, all the members of the band had been on a break but since Harry would come back here tomorrow, he didn’t need anyone to find out.

After the small talk, the show continued and I quite enjoyed seeing all these amazing artists perform. Because of her excitement, Abby had eaten all of her snacks and I had to go to the kitchen to get a refill. Just as I was filling a glass of water for myself, my phone vibrated in my pocket.
