                                                                                 Warren's P.O.V

We were holding hands once again, and once more, I felt calm and at peace. By being alone with Cassidy, holding hands in this way-too-white of a hall, I knew for certain that I only wanted to stay by her side and no one else's. She was the only person I trusted in all my years of maltreatment from my parents and my years of cage-fighting. With that, I felt a slight smile form on my face. She led me down a very brightly lit hallway (way brighter than my only natural light filled warehouse) to her room, which seemed to be the only source of life and color as far as I could tell. my stomach churned at the sight at seeing only one bed in the room. We both looked at each other, smiled, and blushed. The room overall had a very unique aesthetic. The full size bed with plain grey sheets in the corner, the bare desk across from it . A wooden nightstand right by the bed was holding a lava lamp and a book and well as dresser to the right of it that held a clock as well as a jewelry stand that held a necklace , two bracelets, and a few pairs of earrings. There was a tie-dye bean bag chair in the corner to the far right of the bed. The only noticeable thing that stood out to me was her glow in the dark stickers of stars and planets on her ceiling. The room itself was also incredibly tidy. I assumed that she was a very organized person.

"I need to get some new sheets to put onto the bed." Cassidy took a whiff of me, "I'll also ask Scott for any clothes that he has as well that you could borrow. You smell and look like you could use a shower." "Heyyyyy I don't smell that bad" I said with my left brow raised, arms crossed and hip moved to the left in a sassy manner. She burst out laughing. "I'll tell the boys you need to go shopping for new clothes." With that Zoe flipped her curly brown hair to the other side and left the room. A few minutes later she came back with new bed sheets and clothes for me to change into. "By the way, I was hoping we could start training together tomorrow?" She asked. I nodded. I helped her put the new sheets on and then went to shower.

As I was showering I kept thinking about us holding hands to and from the professors office. Thinking about that made me smile and blush, and put my hand behind my head. Is this what it's like to have feelings for someone? and most importantly...

Is it too soon to say that I think I was catching feelings for her?

I suppose the opening and closing of my wings gave me an answer.

Putting that aside I realized that if I trusted her, I needed to tell her about myself. I took a deep breath, knowing what I had to do.

I needed to tell her about my past.

                                                                                     Cassidy's P.O.V

As I laid across my bed, trying to concentrate on reading the book that was on my nightstand, but with little success, I turned over and stared at the glow in the dark stickers on my ceiling. I put those on there when I was about 5. I'm 16 now. So about 11 years ago? yeah , that was right.

At that moment a deep voice behind me asked "Got room on that bed for one more?" I turned around. Warren was standing there, smiling his ever-so-sexy smirk. I smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "Sure" I said. He sat down to the left of me and laid down as I was, looking up at the stars and planets on the ceiling, with his hands behind his head, and sighed. "I had those up there since I was 5" I said. "wow" he whispered quietly. "At that time I was really into planets, stars and stuff" He nodded in response. "Jean helped me put those on." He nodded again.

"I have something to tell you" We both said at the same time. We smiled at each other and blushed. This time, we didn't look away from one another. "You go first" Warren said, still with his eyes on me and his hands behind his head, staring up into the stickers on the ceiling. I could tell he was as anxious as I was to say what he wanted to say because his wings were opening and closing. "He does that a lot", I thought to myself. "It's really cute." I began to blush.
