For a few years, the priestess manage to create her own civilization in which I find fascinating. Gathering outcast and have them believe in her own vision of a great city is quite a great hardwork. Branches creak from behind. Angus came to me and look at the scenery that caught my attention.

"Planning on being an outcast?" he ask.

Bahagyang napakunot ang aking noo. "What do you mean?"

"You can live in Cohen without the laws of the city. You can be as free as you want to be." mahinahon niyang saad habang nakatingin sa malayo.

"I am born to govern. Why would I want to leave?" I ask not knowing why he just asked things like leaving the city.

He just shrug. "Maybe to live in peace."

I snorted at his remark. Why would I want to live in peace, when peace is so damn impossible to even speak off in this realm. Nothing more than just an empty word.

"Have you ever wondered why mom left the city?" I ask him, wondering why people wanted to leave the walls of the city when all it ever did was to defend the people from the fangs of danger.

"For love." he answer without hesitations.

I scoff at his comment.

Love? The most cliché word I ever heard. Why trade their goals and ambitions, their hard work and governance just because they fall in love.

Dumb.

"Don't tell me you believe in such idiocy?" natatawa kong saad sa kanya pilit na isinisiksik sa kanyang utak na hindi para sa akin, sa amin ang emosyon na makakapagpagulo lang ng pag-iisip at isang hamak na pakiramdam lamang.

"As what I heard love is the most powerful thing." he said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

I scoff at his remark and jump towards the bottom of the tree. I turn my gaze away from him and went towards my bike.

I use my speed and went towards my men.
