Complex Mind

After that night.

I'm pretty sure nothing changed much between us. But this stupid head of mine which I curse a lot, has been troubled by this fact about my brother.

Recently, I noticed myself being a lot, lot, lot more protective around him.

I'm so worried but also afraid the day my little brother will snap because of this messed up brain.

We're currently having breakfast when I decided to pay close attention to my brother.

I frowned, I noticed how his shirt is too thin almost showing his skin inside.

"Cop, where are you going?"

"I'll hang out with Bas."

"You're bestfriend's house?"

"Yeah.."

"You won't go somewhere else aside from his place, right?"

"Uhm.. we might go shopping shoes together.."

"I see.." I lowered my head down, focused on my food and said firmly..

"Ok.. So once you're done eating, go back to your room and change your shirt.."

"Phi?..."

"I won't let you leave with that shirt.. find something thicker.."

"But P'Tae ----"

"That's final. Hurry, I'll send you to his place.."

I didn't let him argue, so he moved hesitatingly to his room and changed his clothes.

"Call me if there's anything. Don't forget to send Bas' contact info. Don't come home late. Don't---"

"Phi, we already talked about this, right?"

I almost choke with his words. After our draining conversation, we agreed to some terms.

I looked into his eyes and felt guilty. I trust him but not the people around him, hell! I even endure not asking him who the person he likes to respect his privacy.

"Ok.. Fine !"

I sighed deeply in defeat.

"Now, go!.. Make sure to have fun.."

I told him endearingly and smiled. He finally cheered up and rewarded me with his giggles,

"Thank you phi!"

He hurried and left the car.

I shook my head hoping my thoughts to just disappear in this invisible air.

"After all... How can I resist you?"
