I stared at the boy as he huffed at me, striding away from me with his fists still clenched.

"C'mon Flora, let's go down to the Koi Pond," I heard Miles speak to his sister as he approached her.

Kate looked at me, frowning, "What's wrong with you?" She asked me as she turned to face me, an angry and confused look in her eyes.

"Why is it always my fault? He's just a stroppy teenager, Kate," I told her as I began walking in the opposite direction to Miles and Flora.

I felt Kate grab my shoulder.

"Why does he have a black eye? Are you saying Flora did that?" Kate asked me, giving me a look that said
you're guilty, aren't you?

I gulped at her response and the look she held towards me. I was always a terrible liar, I used to do everything under the sun when I lied to someone, y'know, rub the back of my neck, laugh, bite my lip, avoid eye contact, etc.

"Okay fine, it was me, but he was being an ass, Kate, he was asking for it," I told my aunt as I watched her brow furrow.

"What? That makes even less sense, what did he do?"

"Kate, if you want to find out more I suggest you ask him," I said as I turned and began walking between two large hedgerows, my converse brushing against the short, damp grass which sat comfortably on the ground.

I heard her sigh behind me, "Elizabeth! C'mon!" She yelled loudly.

I glanced back at her, holding a smirk on my face as I did so, continuing to walk away.

She frowned, turning away and giving up.

As I walked through the 'maze' I held my focus at the hedges either side of me, each one towering above myself. I have always been very claustrophobic, so you could say that this was a stupid decision to go walking about a maze alone.

I sighed, spinning around and sitting down on an oak trees roots, staring back down the path I had previously strode down. I held my chin on my arms, which were supported by my knees.

As I sat there, admiring the huge house in the distance, I noticed a figure approaching me.

The figure seemed to be a man, he wore a leather jacket which dragged on the floor behind him as he walked. It was almost like he carried a black mist with him as he made his way closer to me.

I gasped, standing up and intently watching the man as he carried on approaching me, squinting slightly to better help my vision.

However, as I blinked, the figure changed to a much smaller one who wore a blazer and jeans. An all too familiar figure with a small frame who stood at around the same height as I.

"What the fuck?" I mumbled to myself as I approached the boy before me.

"There you are, we need to talk," Miles spoke as he approached me.

"Really? You couldn't give me ten minutes to myself?" I asked him, frowning and crossing my arms over my chest.

He frowned, "Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost," The boy held a smile as he stared at me, standing closer to me.

I looked up at him, glancing behind him.

"I'm fine," I snapped back, irritated at how he ignored my question.

He smirked and held his stare at me.

"Kate spoke to me about this," The boy pointed at his purple eye, "What did you tell her?"

I stared up at the boy, holding my stare on his purple eye.

"I just said how much of an ass you were being and that you left me no choice but to teach you a lesson," I told him, not realising how bad what I had said sounded.

His eyes widened at my response.

He chuckled, "Teach me a lesson? Funny, she didn't mention that part," He threw a look at me which made me want to run. Was he attempting to flirt with me? I felt his hand graze my arm. I shifted my gaze towards it.

"You know what I'm talking about,"

"You bet I do," Miles said as I felt his eyes upon my body. I looked up at him as his face edged closer to mine.

"Are you, flirting?" I asked him, knowing the answer was staring me in the face.

He smirked. "I think you know the answer to that" He spoke in an almost sarcastic tone as he leaned his head towards my neck.

I breathed in heavily and stepped back away from the boy.

Without speaking, I walked away from the boy. As I brushed past him, I glanced back to see him staring at me, his eyes brushing every inch of my body.

"Don't walk away from me, Elizabeth," Miles demanded as he stood there staring at me.

I stopped dead in my tracks as I faced him. There were about ten feet between us as he began approaching me again.

"Or what?" I asked, sniggering under my breath.

As he stood before me, he placed his hands on my waist, harshly pressing down.

I immediately grabbed his hands, "What are you doing?"

"Showing you what will happen if you defy me," Miles told me as he yanked my body roughly to connect with his lower half.

I gasped as he did so, arching my neck so my face was away from his. I looked down to my left, looking over his shoulder. I could feel his hands holding my waist tightly as he leaned his body onto mine, hovering his lips near my neck.

"M-Miles, stop," I stuttered, my heart beginning to race as I felt his hot breath make contact with the skin on my neck.

He laughed at my attempt to stop him in the situation, "If you really want me to I will, but you don't want me to, do you?" I could feel his warm, moist breath on my neck still as the words crossed his lips.

I looked at the boy, making immediate eye contact as I did so, his cocoa eyes meeting mine.

I sighed, placing my hands on his chest and pushed him away, the fabric soft against my fingertips.

"No, I don't want that," I looked away from him as I spoke, avoiding eye contact.

He laughed under his breath as he strolled past me.

"Come find me if you change your mind,"
