I wake up clutching my arm. I unwrap it and it is DISGUSTING. I cleaned it off and then re-wrapped it.

It's still dark outside so I check the clock it's only 3:00 AM. I sigh as I flop down on my bed, school starts at 8:30. Right as I get comfy that stupid phone goes off with an alarm to get up and go. I walk to my closet to find a mask, my sneakers some shorts and a tank top. I grab a hoodie since it's literally like 3:15 in the morning in the middle of SEPTEMBER! I hate September, almost every day it's freezing in the morning and by 11 it's burning up.

As I'm heading out quietly with my phone and a different mask I found, anything was better then last nights. I groan as I start to jog/run into the city.

It takes about 10 minutes but I make it to an old book store. Ok this is weird... I check to make sure I have the right place. I walk in, how is this the right location? No one is here and the man at the front desk points to the back.

I try to seem calm as I walk to the back and look around. This place is kinda cool though. Some books fall as I'm walking back I lean down to pick them up and see a note fall out. I read it and it says "go to the back storage closet".

There are so many red flags in choosing to ignore.... I walk into the back and open the storage closet. Once I'm in there and close the door, "so do I just stand here?" I mumble to myself. Almost as a response the floor beside me quickly forms into stairs. I quickly take my mask out and putting it on as I run down the stairs.

"Oh my gosh, your the one Hydro was talking about!" Someone from behind me yells, I turn around to see THE Velvet, she has long blonde hair and is like the prettiest girl ever.

"So your the new girl?" She asks tightening her ponytail. "Yep " I reply rubbing my arms awkwardly. "Nervous, huh?" She says jumping into the rolling chair by a big monitor. "Yeah, my first mission didn't go so well." I say shrugging.

"Aw I'm sorry," she says getting up. "Well since the two guys are late as usual how about I give you a tour?" She says as she starts to walk around. "Sure" I say as I follow, but I don't really think it was a question.

She gives me a quick rundown of everything, this huge main room is where they- sorry we will train together, monitors are for watching crime, and there is a storage room, a private training room with some punching bags and a treadmill. Then she leads me to my favorite room in the tour, a garage.

It has all of there bikes in it along with one gold bike, "that ones yours" She says pointing to it and I run over. "I hope you'll teach me how to drive this thing." I say running my hand over the cold metal. This is pretty cool for a first day.

"Oh don't worry we all got the hang of it on our first try." She says leading me back to the main room. "So what's up with your arm?" She says as she takes a seat by the monitor again. "Oh it's nothing, I just burned it while cooking." I lie straight through my teeth.

Before she can respond we hear footsteps coming down as Hot head and I'm assuming Hydro are arguing.

"I'm just saying that water is way better! Plus it can put out fires any day." Hydro says as he reaches the bottom of the stairs, "Yeah right, your just upset that the ladies like me better." Heat Wave replies running his hand trough his hair. I can't place where but that looked so familiar.

Before Hydro replies Velvet clears her through and points to me. They both turn around as I give an awkward wave.

"I didn't know if you would come!" Hydro says as he eagerly shakes my hand. "Careful bud you don't want to scare her off." Heat says as he puts a hand on Hydro but he shrugs it off.
