"Well, your mom called, she told me that you would be living alone here so she asked me to keep an eye on you." Patrick said calmly.
"What?! So you're gonna be staying here?" I was shook how can my mom do this.
"Not quite, since I have to go to work and I would go out with my friends, so I won't be around most of the day so you can chill, and also I'll be gone once your friend Brook comes." Patrick is like 22 years old, he's very mature in his thoughts, we have our own set secrets, and he gives such good advice, he is also a great listener which is one of the reasons why I share everything with him.

"Okay so tomorrow you're gonna apologise to that guy" he said as he unpacked his things.
"Fine whatever." I hunched my back and walked towards my bedroom. I don't know but I felt really tired.
*Next morning*
I woke up, brushed my teeth and walked towards the living room to see Patrick wearing his shoes and fixing his tie to get to work.
"Hey Good Morning Ray of Hope, the breakfast is on the table" he smiled
"Morning, thanks for the breakfast" I look at the table where the food was and beside it was a box of cupcakes.
*Gasp* "Cupcakes!" I squealed
"Oh and those cupcakes are for the guy next door, make sure you give it to him and don't eat them up, I'll know if you did. And I'm getting late for work, Ok bye." and he dashed out closing the door behind him.
Wut?@_@....Damn those cupcakes are for me T_T
"Maybe if I have one, it wouldn't hurt" I thought. Then I had my breakfast (and the cupcake). It took a lot of self control for me to not have a second one. Then I quickly got ready ( I can't go in my PJs duh). And took the cupcakes with !e and walked out.
"Let's get over with this." I walked towards his door and rang the door bell........ No response, then I put my ear to the door and I heard some noises which meant he was in there and was purposely ignoring me. I rang the bell like thrice but still no response, I had to do something.
"Idea!" I gasped. I walked back into my house and went to the balcony, the distance between both of our balconies were around 4 to 5 feet apart I can manage.
Somehow I managed to climb into his balcony, Ray your breaking into someone's house, yeah but what else can I do if he doesn't respond. I looked into his house and I found him sitting on the couch and scrolling through his phone, obviously he's not busy. I knocked at the sliding door to grab his attention "Hey Apollo, open up", the moment he looked at me, it was as if he saw a ghost or something. He stood up and walked towards me, and opened the door.
"What the hell?! How on earth did you even get here?" He still looked shocked. "If you're here to beat me, I have the 911 on speed dial." He showed me his phone.
"Nah dude I'm here to apologise." I said as I showed him the cupcakes.
"Finally you admitted it." He said. Calm down, don't do anything, don't do anything.
"So are you gonna let me in?" I asked
"Yeah come in....but how did you get here?" He has still not revived from his shock.
"Well I came here from my balcony" I told him as if it were no big deal.
"Okay" And he was just looking at me as if I was a creep.
"Why you looking at me as if I grew extra limbs!" I mentioned.
"No, its just way to hard to believe."
"Yeah, whatever I'm gonna leave now, bye" I shrugged and I walked out. I went towards my door and I turned the knob but the door wouldn't open, I tried fiddling with it but it just won't budge Dang it!, so I had to go back to his house. "Hey listen open up" I said as I banged on the door.
He opened soon after, which I didn't expect him to.
"What is it now?" he asked as he leaned on the door.
"The thing is that when I came to your house from the balcony I closed the door from inside" I smiled sheepishly. He rolled his eyes and let me in. I walked to the balcony, and as I was climbing into mine-
"Thanks Apollo!" I shouted.
"Its Marcus, god damn it!" He yelled from inside of his house.
