The Culprit (Season End)

"You have any suspects?"

"Nah not really." I replied.

"Okay then just name the guys that work with you." She said.

"Max, Jake, Peter, Cole and Simon." I recalled.

"You forgot the Yankee." She looked at me.

"Really?! Why Aiden?" I asked.

"Duh, he's a suspect, to me!" She said.

"Ugh fine but you have to treat me if its not him." I said.

"Sure...anyways getting back to the point, you said he gave you a necklace right?" Brook asked.

"Yeah.."

"Can I see it?" She asked.

"Yeah sure." I got up to get the necklace from my room.

I quickly got back and gave her the necklace.

"Hmm....Damn this thing is expensive." She looked at it and said.

"It is."

"So since we don't really have suspects, we'll have to do one thing." She looked at me. "Wear this tomorrow while you're at work, see how everyone reacts to it and then we'll dig deeper.

"Great!!" I replied.

The next day I wear the necklace and go to work, Brook is there with me as always. I was getting a little nervous and paranoid at the same time.

I got to my work as usual, well nobody really noticed the necklace, until-

"Hey Ray!" It was Aiden

"Hi." I hugged him.

"Wow I love your necklace, it suits you well who gave it to you!" He smiled. Shit I was caught off guard.

"You noticed?"

"How could I not, it looks so pretty on you." He looked calm as ever.

"Thanks, Brook gave it to me." I lied.

"Sweet!"

"Enough of chit chat guys get to work." Grace interrupted us.

" Well that's our cue, see ya around babe." Aiden said and left.

Well his reaction wasn't suspicious or was it? I thought about it and got to work.

I kept looking around to see people's reactions or to find suspicious people around. I kept my cell phone on so I can immediately receive messages from the stalker, he is always around so he would have known if I wore the necklace or not.

"Ray! You look a bit distracted." Jake, who was sitting beside me said.

I turned towards him, "No not at all, I'm fine." I grinned, then his gaze went towards my necklace.

"Nice necklace." He smiled, he was the second person who noticed.

"Thanks." I smiled awkwardly.

"Oh hey I be back in a minute, something just came up." Jake said and left. I don't know, but I got deeply suspicious about this situation, I was never this suspicious. Just a few minutes after Jake left, I received a text message, it said, "The necklace looks pretty on you." And that's when I knew, I just knew it was Jake, I just had to follow him now. I quickly got up from my place and asked Grace to take my place and excused myself. 

After searching for like ten minutes straight I found Jake, who was with Max, standing outside the locker rooms, I hide behind the wall and listened to their conversation.
