I told Brook about the texts and she said

"Hey don't listen to his blackmailing just block him I have 911 on speed dial. He won't do anything." Yup that's what she said.

Next day

It's a Monday and what does that mean? Back to work, but I thought of taking a day off, since you know, Kevin's coming, I haven't seen Kevin in like two years, he must have changed a lot, the Kevin I know is very humurous, well not exactly humurous, he can be very lame at times. We three are childhood best friends, all three of us were neighbors, until Kevin's parents got divorced and he went with his father to Washington, and like a jerk he didn't even bother to keep in touch with us, the first thing I'll do to him is beat his ass up when he comes. What kind of friend leaves you alone like that?

It was 9:00 am, I called my boss and told her I wasn't coming because I was sick, and I had to fake cough and sneeze while I was on line. Brook said she was going to the airport to pick Kevin up, since she knew how to drive, and when I asked her if I could go along, she said-

"No Ray, you stay back and look after the house, and also didn't you say that you had to find out why Marcus was acting weird?, so go and invite him, plus i don't mind if y'all do a little hanky-panky." she giggled

"What?!!." Does she even hear herself?

"I ship both of you. Anyways, go and find out what's wrong with him, also, it takes like one hour to reach the airport, and I know you get car sick, I don't want my car stinking cause of your stupid sickness, okay gotta get going, bye!" She said and left, she was right about my car sickness, I couldn't argue with her on that topic, its better to invite Marcus, and listen to what he has to say.

"So Apollo, tell me what happened yesterday, you looked a little troubled." We were in the living room of our house, I invited him, I really wanted to know what happened yesterday.

"So basically, I took out my friend on a friendly date yesterday, we had lots of fun, and at the end of the date, before going back to our houses, I asked if she would want to be my girlfriend."

"And?"

"And she said.....'aww but I always saw you as a really good friend' and then she went ahead and said 'even if I wanted to I can't cause I already have a boyfriend.' And then she kissed me on my cheek and left." He was so sad.

"Pfftt...you got friend-zoned haha, omg you got friend zoned, not only that, that bitch kissed you. Don't you think she's doing that on purpose?" I couldn't control my laughter for the fact that he got friend zoned.

"Shut up! I really loved her!" And then he started crying.

"Hey! Hey I was just kidding!....wait are you crying?!" Damn he really was affected by all this.

*sob*sob*

All of this was a little funny, ngl.

"Come on let's play some PS4, it will cheer you up!" I said, still controlling my laughter.

"Ok." 3_3 (swollen eyes from all that crying.....lol)

1 hour later. (Sponge bob style)

"Dude dude dude, throw grenade, throw grenade!!! Attaack from behind, throw grenade!!! 'Game Over' " Even after screaming at him to throw the granade, that idiot didn't, my hands were itching to smack him. It pissed me off, we lost like ten round back to back, he really needs counseling. Then I calm my self down so that I don't end up throwing him off the balcony."

"What's wrong? you played so well last time. Don't tell me you're still not over that chick?" I asked in disappointment, like the first time I saw him I thought he was a rough and tough guy but in reality he ended up being a total chicken. *face palm*

"But I loved herrrrrhuhuhuhuuu." Aaand back to square one. I thought playing PS4 would help but it didn't. (Thanks for trying PlayStation -_-). Then I thought having something sweet would help, nope, I'm definitely not giving my Nuttella, ahu, no way. Then I remembered that we had gummy bears that Brook got.

"Wait right here, I'll be back in a jiffy." I went and got a handful of gummy bears.

"Here, have some of these, it might help." I held out my hand full of gummy bears.

He ate all of them at once @_@, wow this dude is impossible.

"They remind me of who sweet she waaaashuhuhuu" *sigh* and that was the last straw!

"Dude seriously?! Are you crying over a girl who doesn't give you importance!?!!! She said she has a boyfriend!! And that's why she friend zoned you!! If she had feelings she wouldn't have dated anyone!! What did you expect anyways?! She was not gonna cheat, nor was she gonna dump him!! So what's the use of crying over something you never had?!!" Damn I never preached like this before, it was always from Brook to me. It feels good giving advice.

"Dude you-" Before I could complete my sentence, he hugged me. Wut?@_@

"I'm sorry, I'm being a burden to you." He said

"No no it's ok you can talk to me and not keep your feelings inside. But just don't cry." I'm not really good at consoling people, I hope I'm going on the right track.

"Can we stay like this for some time." He asked

"Um....as long as it makes you feel better." I said. We were in the same position for like five minutes, and my back began to ache, it was killing me, but just then-

"Hey Ray!! Look who's come!!" Brook returned with Kevin, and there was an awkward silence between the four of us. "Oops wrong time." 

"No no no Brook its not what it looks like!" I yelled.

"Oh so that's how it is, is it?" I made Brook and Kevin sit down and listen to me.

"Hey I'm Kevin, Brook and Ray's best friend." 

"Yeah a best friend who forgets about his friends." I said

"I'm Marcus, their neighbour." 3_3 (eyes are still swollen)

"I've heard a lot about you."

"Ok Kevin what did you bring for us?" I asked.

"I got loads of underwear for you." I glared at Brook, bet she told the underwear incident to him.

"Ah...I should get going now." Marcus said.

"Nah, man you seem fun you should stay, and join us for the party." Yeah 'fun' pffftt.
