Chapter 20

A few hours later we pull up to a beautiful old house, "Where are we?" I ask, looking around.

"We're home, at least for the next two weeks."

"Really?" I smile, getting out of the truck, it is the most beautiful place I'd ever seen, it is old and covered in ranking plants, there are rose petals scattered over the walkway all the way up to the front door.

Jared takes my hand and leads me up to the path to the door, he takes a key from under the mat and unlocks the door, he steps aside and I walk inside, completely speechless.

"So? What do you think?" He asks.

"It's beautiful." I reply, turning around, there is a fire going and lit fragrant candles everywhere that smells amazing and is completely relaxing.

"What did I do to deserve this?"

"You're amazing. How much did it cost you to fix that dam anyway?" He asks putting his hands on my hips sending sparks throughout my entire body.

"It's not like I needed the money so it might as well be out to good use." I reply, putting my hands over his.

"If I'm not mistaken there should be a bubble bath ready for you."

"Sounds great."

As I walk into the bathroom, I wonder how he was able to get this all setup without me knowing about it. There is a huge round tub in the middle of the room with a fluffy bathrobe and slippers laid down on an old fashioned chair. I get undressed and climb into the warm water. I lay my head on the edge and soak for half an hour nearly falling asleep.

I put the bathrobe on and walked around looking for Jared. I find him outside staring at the sky drinking a beer.

"Hey, beautiful, how was your bath?"

"Amazing. How did you get all this organized?" I ask standing in front of him.

"With the power of modern technology." He replies nodding at his cellphone. He pulls me towards him and I sit on his lap facing him.

"Of course." I smile, putting my arms around his neck. I bend down and kiss him. I love the way he makes me forget everything when he kisses me.

Jared breaks our kiss. "You need to sleep." He says.

"You went through so much trouble." I say looking at the candle lit table.

"There is plenty of time." He tells me then gets up with me. I unhook my legs from him and he takes my hand and leads me to the bedroom. Jared opens the door and I take the room in, there is a four poster angel bed dominating the room. I walk over to the bed and sit down, it is so soft and I lie back sweeping my hands over the bedspread and it feels like I am being hugged by fluffy clouds.

"I take it you like it." He smiles.

"I love it." I smile, not feeling tired anymore. I get up and go to stand in front of him. He looks down at me and I know what he wants. I want it too. He gently tugs on my robe. I smile, I think he knows I'm naked underneath. He bends to kiss me and unties the knot of the robe, he then slides his hands under and slides the robe off of my shoulders, it pools at my feet as I stand there naked in front of him, he takes a moment to look at me and I love it. He kisses me passionately as I undress him. I lead him to the side of the bed and make him sit on the edge. I sit on his lap with my legs on either side of him, he takes the elastic out of my hair and I shake my head to let my hair fall in place. I know he loves it. He runs his hands through my hair and I can feel his body responding to mine. He picks me up and lays me down on the bed and I wrap my legs around his waist. We make slow passionate love.
