Maya smiled looking at all of the stuff around her. She was officially sixteen and now it didn't actually seem that weird to be in her situation.
"You know my mom was about my age when she found out about me," Maya said as Josh looked at her. "Your mom was 16 and pregnant? Wow, that I didn't know. Wow that means she is going tk be a grandmother at 33. That's crazy," Josh said and Maya smiled as he handed her a box. "Happy birthday, Gorgeous," Josh said as Maya opened up the box finding a ring looking like a promise ring
"I love it. Thank you," Maya said giving Josh a kiss. "That is just a little something. When you turn eighteen it's going to be replaced with an engagement ring. You may be too young right now to actually get married but one day you will be old enough. So let's see how far we can get," Josh said and Maya smiled.
