"annyeong midzy! welome to my vlive!" the comments start to pour in, questions after questions. "right now, i am home in busan! all the members are back home spending some time with their families. it's been very relaxing and healing time for us." i look into the viewfinder checking myself to make sure i look semi-decent. i shift in my seat a little before looking at the comments. 'what have you been doing?' "well at home i have been eating a lot of lollies haha and actually learning new dances from my sunbaenims. a lot of new songs have came out so i like to try and learn them."
'song recommendations?' "stay tonight by chungha sunbae, the mv is spectacular and her vocals really shine in it. also 8 by iu sunbae and yoongi sunbaenim! the song has very warming meaning and its just a really good song!" i smile, "also i put on a nice shirt so i look decent but in reality i'm wearing sweatpants hehe,"
"actually both my parents are working right now, but my father actually opened a new cafe recently and i've been helping him decorate it. i put made sure to make it look pretty,"
"but anyway, i'm actually here because i wanted to show you guys my skincare routine! i'm actually in the bathroom and i'm gonna take you guys through my skincare routine and hopefully share some helpful tips!" i slide my headband onto my forehead swiftly and wash my hands. "i was my hands before doing skincare because i want the dirt off before i touch my face, this is my night routine but i'm doing it now because i'm a little bored!"
i splash warm water onto my face and look at my phone, "so i start with cleanser, i use pretty light cleansers because i prefer my cleansers not too heavy and i rub it in my face for like 30 seconds." i lightly start to rub it into my skin, "personally i don't like the foam cleansers, it just doesn't really go with my skin." i splash the now cold water onto my skin before patting my face with a face cloth. "a good tip is to have a separate cloth for your face and body, and to pat your face and not drag it because that can cause wrinkles and all that unwanted stuff."
'do you miss seoul?' "yes, i really do i've grown to really like seoul. and now i will do a toner." i take a cotton pad and squirt it on there and put it on my face. "i don't think i'm allowed to show the brands so i won't just in case." i pick up the next product looking at its name. "and next is a serum, the packaging for this is so pretty!" i exclaim excitedly, showing off the rose gold packaging ,"i enjoy watching skincare videos a lot,"
"next is my moisturizer, it's really cool because you just press down at the top and it'll come out, like this," i put the moisturizer up to the camera and press down on it causing the product to come out. "so cool," i put it in my hand and spread it onto my face, "a big tip is to frequently wash or change your sheets, i do it weekly because i just feel gross if i don't. all that dirt goes into your bedsheets and it just makes me feel weird."
"and last but not least is oil, obviously if you have oily skin i wouldn't recommend this tip but i have relatively normal skin, and by normal i mean its not dry or oily or sensitive or anything like so it's easy to find stuff that works for me and a reminder that these products might not suit you because we all have different skin types!" after applying the oil i look at my glowing skin, satisfied.
"probably like once a week i exfoliate, i do it weekly because if i do it daily it's not great for my skin. also i do a clay mask like once a week as well. every other day i do a sheet mask. mostly hydrating ones because apparently i lack hydration so i've been trying to drink lots of water :)"
