Chapter 12

Agnarr POV

We finally reached home, its already half past midnight. Guards helped us in and were shocked we brought back three more guest, and especially one of them is a talking snowman.

"What does it feel like wearing clothes all day?" Olaf walks around one of the guards and asked.

"I...I...Sir?" He was speechless, but i was too exhausted to answer any queries.

"You may be wondering who am I-" Someone shut Olaf mouth.

"Don't leak out anything that happened today." I threw the lead from the horses at the guards as I carried Elsa and Anna down.

I got them to their beds with the help of Kai and Emilie, Olaf just hops his way towards Anna bed and sat, I guess that's where he will sleep.

I quickly got to my bed and laid, and soon I was awoken by a slap on my face.

"Who is that!" I squint my eyes to get my vision back, I turn to the snoring and saw Kristoff and Sven.

They both are cuddling each with sven on top of kristoff, it was a sight to see, it just reminds me of my childhood, me and my favourite toy sleeping together, my mother sew some plushies for me to sleep with.

I got down the bed and look around, this isn't my room, as i was walking towards the other side of bed to tuck them in, I step on something, Its Iduna.

"My leg." she woke up and stretched her arms out.

"Iduna? How did you get here?" i pull her up and sat her to the bed.

"This is supposedly my room, I placed Sven and Kristoff on my bed and I slept on the floor." She rubbed her eyes and shook her head.

"Why are you here?" she yawned and stretched her back and stood up.

"I went to the wrong room, me and my brain during the night." I hit my head repetitively.

"Don't do that, it's just an accident, anyways I told you I sleep on floors." She slaps my hands down and gave a yawn.

"I can't get you hurt. Who else am I going back with?" She smiled at me and pulled me up.

We went out of the room, the halls are silent, I looked at the clock nearby, just eight, we got up quite early, I looked at Iduna who is admiring the intricated design on the walls.

"It's quite fancy here, I couldn't imagine myself staying here." She muttered, but I could hear it.

"You will get used to it, I stayed here for 14 years straight." Get used to it? She isn't staying her for long, how come it just came out naturally from me?

"You heard me?" Iduna looked at me.

"You are a loud person I might say." I chuckle a little.

"Thanks for that." She smirked, I think I just complimented her.

As we are eating our breakfast, Iduna then pops out a question, "So what are we going to do with arendelle? Didn't you say it would be in chaos with its rulers? And we still have to find the items remember." Iduna mimic my voice for the second part, I probably did repeat that part at lot of times.

"I- don't have a plan for it." I forcefully admit it.

"Tell them the truth?" Iduna munch on. As much I hate it, it sounds like a better plan than hiding it. Tell the people our plans is the right thing rulers should do, they deserve to know.

I ring Kai to order Lord Husan in, we have a change of plans.

"Prince Agnarr and...Iduna." Lord Husan greeted as I gestured him to sit.

"We want to tell the truth to the people." I looked at iduna and she nodded at me.

"Very well, I will assemble arendellians in the town square, make yourself ready." He looks at his watch, quickly bowed and left.

"That was easy." She stretched herself.

"That was just the beginning, I don't know how the reaction of arendelle will be but we must brace ourselves."

I am very scared of confrontation, doing those speech, like how father did, that bold and determined voice echos through my mind, telling me I will never reach that confident self.

"Sometimes telling the truth maybe the best after all, I believe that the King would agree with your choice." Iduna comforted me.

And she smiled again, is it her smile contagious or is it me?

My hands started fidgeting as I loiter around the hallways, I then looked out of the window and crowds entering the gates Iduna went with the children for breakfast, I have no appetite when my heart feels so heavy.

Soon the square is filled with people, some mumbling, some with doubtful expression, probably asking why the king asked for their presence in the morning. But little did they know that it was a young prince that called them.

"Papa are you alright?" Elsa tapped on my shoulder as Anna looked concerned.

"Never been better." I caress her face, it doesn't feel cold as I expected, suddenly Elsa and Anna face came near me, I got kissed.

"Mama says our kisses help you calm down." Elsa said as she hugs Anna, Iduna did? I then looked at the family portrait, It's her. The kisses made me shy and distracted me.

"It always works like a charm." Anna winks seductively at me, now where did she learnt that?

"She is changing now papa." Elsa cheekily said and ran off. Who does she mean, oh- her.

"Are those people?" Olaf looked out of the windows, shrieks soon followed from outside.

"Aren't they wonderful? Are they looking at my newly created nose?" Olaf took out its carrot and waved at them with it.

"It's my nose! Do you like it?" I quickly pulled him away as more cheering is heard.

"Hey!" Iduna screamed from the other side of the hall while holding on Kristoff. She changed, to a much formal outfit, a longer hem for her dress. Her hair looks much straight now, did she comb it.

"I didn't want to change, and they did this to my hair, now my hair isn't flowy anymore." She grumbled as she hits her neater braids.

"Olaf maybe you like to stand behind us, you can watch the children. I can get you more lemonade later." Iduna quickly moved Olaf away from the windows.

"Lemonade! Come on Sven and Christopher!" Olaf then pull Elsa and Anna behind, I could hear Kristoff whining about his name.

"How did you get that close with Olaf and Kristoff?" I asked, we have been with them for not even a full day.

"For Olaf, just imagine him as gale, he is quite easy to communicate. And Kristoff, he is like me." She grins.

"Presenting Prince Agnarr of arendelle." I heard Kai announcing me, I then went in a frantic mode, I am not ready yet! I haven't thought of things to say.

"Listen to me Agnarr, you just have to do this once and for all. Everyone will listen and understand you." Iduna hugged me and pushed me out.

Oh no. I am out. I heard more shrieks and chattering among the people. My confidence all went down, how am I surviving this? I am bringing shame to the arendelle royal family. I could even hear my father scoffing.

"Prince Agnarr." Suddenly everyone bowed towards me, I wasn't expecting this, they trust me.

I just have to do this once and for all. I quickly scrambled up some words and said it all out.

I can't believe it worked.
