Time rewind

Chapter 7

Agnarr POV

"No! Look at us! You think we- you can rule." She hits the leathery seat, I knew from the change of pronouns, she wasn't in for the plan.

"We can learn to be one." I pointed out but she looked with disapproval.

"I thought you're a genius, being a leader of a nation is no joke." Iduna scoff as she folded her hands.

"It's not like you been through." I tried to rebut.

"I have, being assistant of the tribe leader for a day and trust me, it's not advisable." She did an unintentional brag, I don't know about it, but her assistant job seems way easier than it sounds.

"I mean I have to be the king of arendelle soon, and it's now it's the time to train."

"Haven't you thought of it, your appearance is so drastic from the current you, how would they react? And also we are just kids who totally time travelled from the past, tell me who would believe it? Nuts would." I tried to say Kai, but she shoot her eyes, knowing what I wanted to say.

She thought of situation I have never think it would happen, pretty impressed by her smarts and logic.

"Just go on with our lives here till we find a way." She ended off and closes her eyes.

"What about arendelle?"

"You said it's your gut feeling, they might back there already." She yawned.

"If you said so..."

And of course, who wouldn't expect it, my gut is right!

It took us a whole day to reach back, with Iduna having her homesickness, wanting more stops before we move on. We finally reached before the day breaks, and the castle is in frantic mode.

"We cant find them anywhere." Kai told us as soon we reached the gates.

"The King?" I stretched my arms and legs as I asked.

"The King and the Queen! Its like they are gone after you arrived, and the council is requesting their appearance after you left hours later."

"Who are the council?" Iduna yawned.

"Officials who assist the king, so do you have a plan?" I spat it out.

"What plan?" Iduna stretches her arms out.

"Current us gone, people need the King's appearance, any good plan?"

"Tell them the truth, they won't mind." As she pats her mouth.

"How are you still taking this lightly?!" I stomp on the floor and found that she close her eyes and stop moving.

How is she sleep standing?! Tell them the truth, they are not going to trust us, like what she said like last night! She is contradicting herself. 

"Kai, tell me all the current officials." Kai then took out a scroll and started reading out.

"Where is Duke Lukas? Isn't he inside?"

"Unfortunately, He retired a few years ago."

"Mattias?"

"He went missing in the enchanted forest."

Those who I am close with aren't with me, what tough luck.

"Give me some names of trustworthy officials."

"Sir Mebloi, Lady Elois and Lord Husan."

Lord Husan? He was my father most trusted advisor. I haven't really have an talk with him since probably when I was 12?

"Could you call Lord Husan in?" I decided, from what I heard, Lord Husan decisiveness and love for arendelle, he should be able to help us out.

"Right away." Kai bowed before leaving, I then saw Emilie bringing out the princesses.

"Emilie." I called out, Anna and Elsa then came running to Iduna, thankfully Emilie stop them and instead they came jumping on me.

"Could you freshen up iduna." As I tried getting up and seeing Iduna sleep standing.

"Of course." She curtsy before putting iduna shoulder on her back as she carried her away.

"Papa! You brought mama back!"

"Where did you go yesterday?" Anna sassily fold her hands and sat on me.

"Come now Anna, you shouldn't sit on father, it rude, remember what mama told us." Elsa pulls Anna up as she dust her dress.

I am surprised at Elsa action, she is quite well-disciplined, probably thanks to Iduna teaching skills.

"Eaten breakfast yet?" They nodded in return, "What are you suppose to do now?"

"Maybe go to the drawing room and wait for Madam Rosebell to come." Elsa said.

"Then go on, I have to do something important." I then saw the girls pouted their lips, I then kneel to their height and patted their head. "I will visit you later on, with Iduna."

The girls then hopped away, I gave a sigh of relief as I saw Kai bringing someone in. I signal Kai to bring Lord husan in the office.

"Why does the king need my request?" I heard him saying.

"Please wait for his arrival and have a seat."

I then knocked on the door and said in a deeper voice,"Lord Husan, Don't be shocked and listen to me before saying anything else, promise?"

"What wrong your majesty?" I entered and revealed myself, and his face went pale.

"Y...Your....highness?"

"I will explain everything."

"How did this happened, and the king and Queen went missing?"

"Right after Iduna and I came."

"Who else knows about the missing case?" He push his glasses up as he inspects me.

"I am sure the whole castle knew about it."

"What about you two presence?"

"Probably the guards I went out and the whole castle." I blamed Iduna for making this big, but also if I didn't made her mad, so it's both of our fault.

"I might have something on my sleeves but it won't last long." I nodded to tell him to continue.

"Since the current King and Queen went missing, you two might have to stand in, we have to keep this a secret, you both will be hidden but will be acting monarchy,  no one will know until the King and Queen returns, then we will tell the people the truth."

I shook my head, Iduna said it isn't a feasible plan, and the more I thought about it, it made more sense. "It's not a good idea." I said truthfully.

"It's a short term solution, because I believe that the current King and Queen would soon come back, because they know that arendelle won't last long without them."

"But when would they come back? And where are they?"

"It only up to you and Iduna to find out." He smiled as he got up and bowed," I shall get going, I will hold off the council till I get any order from you." Lord Husan then left.

I looked out the windows, I hope it works.

Lord Husan(character I made) he is a official that have a quite big influence in the whole council.

Do you think Agnarr would go with the plan or not? There are both pro and cons and it's quite a decision for me to make.
