Chapter 4

Iduna POV

As I entered another big room, the first thing that caught my eye is a picture. I took a quick glance at Agnarr and back at the picture, that's him...and that's me.

"This can't be me." I gasped as I shuffled away from the picture, trying to unsee what I saw, but their faces has been inked in my mind.

"Pardon me Iduna. That is really you." Kai interrupted my thoughts.

"How would you have known? It could be another girl whom may look exactly like that lady!" I pointed at the picture weakly, I have a much redder hair, I probably have a smaller face, and I do not- tie my hair that way.

"Calm down Iduna, we are in the future remember?" Agnarr said.

Calm down? How would you expect me to chill at this? It's not everyday you would travel to the future and meet your future partner, this has blown me!

"As much this is overwhelming to you, I could tell it's you, you have been in my sights since you're an adolescent."

I must have been in arendelle long before my adulthood. But why am I in arendelle the first place?

"Kai before you go, could you explain what happened after I went to the enchanted forest, there should be clues on why we are here." Agnarr asked, then it hit me.

Of course! How to return home. That's the main point of this whole thing, not whatever I saw.

"When you're 14?" Agnarr nodded and Kai began to explained.

"There is a fight between northuldra and arendelle?" Agnarr asked.

"How can this be possible, I couldn't have missed it, when did it happened?" I am not a patient person, but Kai answered everything, which proved that he is very understanding, hence somehow I trust him.

"Yes very much young Iduna, and when King Runeard went for the treaty with the northuldra." Kai replied.

The treaty, We were there a day ago.

"That means we time-travel before the fight happens." Agnarr replied.

"What happened to it that cause the fight?" I asked Kai, is it the person who brought us here?

"Actually no one knows, Only a few returned from the forest, that day was deemed a sad one, we lost so many people and our late king."

I looked at Agnarr, his face shows no emotion, I took a few seconds to get what Kai meant, it's impossible, northuldra don't kill, we care for everyone.

"Did your people kill my father." His voice deepen, he became scarier than the person I seen the past few hours, so this is his true self.

"What? No they didn't!" I felt so insulted, he blaming me for what they done, "We northuldra don't fight! It might be arendelle who started it." I said in a fit.

"Nonsense, we came for the treaty, it benefits us, why would we ruin a good opportunity!" His volume grew louder, I am pretty annoyed how he is trying so hard to rebut me.

"I still stand with my belief, northuldra don't fight and moreover don't kill, and stop assume it's us." I end off as I crack my knuckles loudly so that he could hear my displeasure.

"So should you." He turned away for me and looks out of the windows.

"Whatever I am going back home, peace out." I said in a rush and stomp out, who cares if I can't go back my time! I just want to breath in the air Gale play in and remove these thoughts that shouldn't be there in the first place.

"Iduna you can't!" Kai blocked me.

"What do you mean I can't?" I pushed Kai gently, he did no wrong for me to rush my anger on him.

"The forest is blocked by a mysterious mist!" My hands fell off the doorknob.

The feeling in me is complicated, a day ago everything was all right, but this darn time traveling blew that off! I wanted to cursed that blue portal that brought me here.

I wiped my eyes and I stomped out of the room, I don't believe it, it can't just shut itself from the world.

"Don't go!" I felt a pull from behind, it is Elsa and Anna, they are showing their sad eyes! It's going to be the death of me one day.

"I am not your real mother! Go back to where you belong." I yelled at them. I am just 13 for nature sake! I can't be a mother at this age, but it feels so wrong to do so.

"I don't get it- You are! You have the scarf!" Elsa pulls my scarf from my shoulders.

"There! Same pattern, same colour, you're our mother. I will beg Papa to apologise to you!" She pointed at the design, apologise? I don't think I would ever accept it from HIM.

"Mama don't go, I promise I will be a good girl, no more pranks. I will take Madam Rosebell lessons seriously!" Anna hugs my leg as I tried to pull her out.

My heart is already melted by them, but I can't stay, this isn't my home.

"Here you can have it, I will visit you next time." I placed it around them.

"No..." Tears filled their eye socket, I used my scarf and wipe them off.

"See you." I forcefully let go off their hands and ran out of the castle.

As I went out, a horse came near me and neighs back to me.

"Arendelle horses! They won't mind if I take one." I got on and saw the equipment.

"How do you use this? I thought it's like riding a reindeer." I shook the rope and the horse immediately took off.

I look around one last time, goodbye arendelle.
