Harry was processing his feelings for Ginny when Ginny came up to him. She had that hard blazing look on her face as she smiled at him and waved. Harry caught himself smiling and waving back at her.
Ginny said "Hey Harry I feel like I haven't talked to you in forever".
Harry said "Yeah it's been a while I guess".
Ginny said "I've been so caught up with Dean that I didn't even notice that I wasn't spending time with you".
Harry said "Yeah and how are things going with Dean?".
Ginny said with tears in her eyes "Um not that well we keep fighting but I hope things turn around".
Harry said "Ginny come here". Ginny started to cry and Harry wrapped his arms around her comforting her. Ginny leaned on his chest wrapping her arms around his torso. Ginny said "We had a huge fight yesterday and honestly I'm so sick of it".
Harry and Ginny hugged for a very long time until she stopped crying. Harry still had his arms around Ginny as she wiped her tears away. Then Ginny said "Thanks Harry I needed that".
Harry said "No problem".
Ginny looked into Harry's emerald green eyes and smiled at him. Harry smiled back and then Ginny said "Harry?".
Harry said "Yeah Gin?".
Ginny said "You can let go now".
Harry said "I know but I don't want too".
Ginny chuckled softly and wrapped her arms around Harry again and said "I have to go but I'll see you later". Ginny then let go and smiled at Harry before she left.
Harry looked after her and smiled to himself as he thought about her blazing red hair and fiery temper.
Hermione came up to Harry and said "Ginny huh?".
Harry looked at her and said "I don't know what you're talking about Hermione".
Hermione said "Harry you're my best friend and I know when you're lying plus I see the way you look at her".
Harry caught himself smiling and said "You're brilliant you know that?".
Hermione smiled at him and said "I know".
Harry said "I just can't help it she's smart, funny and attractive".
Hermione said "Wow you really are into Ginny".
Harry said "Yeah I think I'm in love with her".
Hermione said "You're in love?".
Harry said "Yeah I smelled her perfume in Amortentia I know it doesn't create actual love but I know I love her".
Hermione said "Aww Harry that's so cute".
Harry said "Stop it Mione". He playfully pushed her and then they both burst out into laughter.
Hermione said "You know Harry you're a great friend and I'm grateful for you".
Harry said "I'm grateful for you too".
Hermione placed a hand on his shoulder and then smiled.
Hermione said "Harry I have to tell you something".
Harry said "Anything".
Hermione said "I'm in love with Ron I smelled his scent in Amortentia".
Harry said "Yeah I know Hermione, I've watched you fall in love with him over the years it's no surprise really".
