I took scenes from the seventh book again not all but some of them, I feel like these scenes should have been in the seventh movie. Anyways enjoy the chapter.
It was Harry's birthday dinner and they were all sitting around on the lawn and just talking.
Harry's eyes sought Ginny since the two of them hadn't talked since their moment in her room. They did exchange smiles to each other though but other than that they didn't talk.
Hermione was busy decorating the trees with purple and gold streamers with her wand and she made them drape over the trees and bushes.
Ron said smiling at her "Nice, you've really got an eye for that sort of thing".
Hermione looked both pleased and confused as she said to Ron "Thank you Ron".
Harry smiled to himself turning away from both of them.
He was looking at his copy of "Twelve Fail-Safe ways to charm Witches", when he caught Ginny's eye and grinned up at her before remembering what Ron had told him. Harry then got up and walked away.
Mrs. Weasley said "Out of way, everyone move".
Harry noticed that she had made him a cake for his birthday he was both touched and moved.
Harry smiled and said "Thank you Mrs. Weasley".
Mrs. Weasley said "It's no problem dear".
She treated Harry as if he was one of her own sons cause he practically was since he spent a lot of time at the burrow with Ron and Hermione.
It was now 7 o clock and all the guests had arrived. Lupin smiled as he shook Harry's hand but Harry noted that Lupin looked very unhappy to be there while Tonks looked rather radiant as she hugged Harry.
Tonks hugged Harry tightly and said "Happy birthday Harry".
Hagrid said "Seventeen, six years ter the day since we met, you remember it Harry?".
Harry grinned up at Hagrid and said "I vaguely remember it but one thing I do remember that you gave Dudley a pig's tail and you told me I was a wizard".
Hagrid said "I forge' the details, all righ' then Ron and Hermione?".
Hermione said "We're fine how about you?".
Hagrid said "Not bad".
Charlie Weasley, Ron's older brother came up and started speaking avidly to Hagrid about Norbert who actually went by Norberta now due to Charlie finding out it was a girl.
Molly then said "We'd better get started then".
Just then the minister of magic came in.
Lupin said to Tonks "We shouldn't be here". "Oh and Happy birthday Harry, sorry we have to leave I'll explain later". And with that he took Tonks by the wrist and pulled away.
Rufus Scrimgeour who was the minister of magic had requested to see Harry, Ron and Hermione since Dumbledore had left gifts for each of them.
The minister turned to Ron and asked if him and Dumbledore were close.
Ron said "Uh well I wouldn't say we were close-".
Hermione cut him off by glaring at him.
The minister then went on and said "He remembered you in his will".
Ron said "Well we weren't close but I'm sure he liked me".
Hermione said "Don't be modest Ron, he was rather fond of you".
