Ginny and Harry were very happy together. They spent most of their time on the Hogwarts grounds and in the Gryffindor common room.
But the two didn't have much time to spend together because Ginny was busy studying for her OWLS and Harry was off with Dumbledore trying to help him figure out how Voldemort split his soul 7 times.
They always tried to make time for one another and one day when Ginny was leaning on Harry's knee in the Gryffindor common room and the two were joking around. Ron told them to tone it back on the PDA. Even though when he was with Lavender he was always snogging her in front of everyone.
Meanwhile Ron and Hermione were closer than ever since Ron said Hermione's name when he was in the hospital wing after being poisoned, Ron had secretly hated Lavender's visits and would pretend to be asleep when she came around. Ron loved Hermione's visits and Hermione would often visit him along with Ginny, Harry and Lavender. After Ron got better he began to get seriously annoyed with her and avoided her at all costs. Lavender soon got suspicious and one day when Ron and Hermione were leaving the dormitories along with Harry who Lavender couldn't see because he was under his invisiblity cloak, Lavender got mad at Ron and dumped him and Harry could have swore he saw Hermione smirk.
One day the trio along with Ginny were all talking in the Gryffindor common room when Harry was reading the Half-blood Prince book and Ginny snatched it away from him and started reading it.
Harry said "Ginny give me back my book".
Ginny said "Not until you tell me who the Half-blood Prince is".
Harry said "Truthfully I don't know who he is".
Ginny said reading more of the book "Where did you get this".
Harry said "From Potions now give me back the book".
Ginny said "You'll have to catch me first".
Ginny rushed out of the common room.
Ron and Hermione were too busy laughing to provide any help.
Harry chased after her in the hall and Ginny was laughing as she ran.
Harry finally caught up with her and snatched the book back.
Ginny said out of breath "You finally caught up with me".
Harry said "I didn't take that long to catch up".
Ginny said "Um yeah you did".
Harry said teasingly "Whatever".
Ginny playfully shoved him and then kissed him.
Ginny smiled as she pulled back and said "You still haven't told me about that book".
Harry said "The book, it's been helping me with potions in class and I found some spells".
Ginny said "Ohh what kind of spells".
Harry said "They seem kind of dark so I'm definitely not going to use them".
Ginny said "Well thanks for being honest with me".
Harry didn't say anything but simply put an arm around her and they walked back to the common room.
