»We won't talk about it,« I mumbled and put my jacket on one of the hangers.
»Are you sure you're okay how it is between the both of us?« Sarah asked quietly.

»Indubitably.«
She was about to turn away to reread her script when I started talking again, »I think we both are fine now.«

And I meant it. I didn't want no bad blood anymore just peace.

With that I hurried to make up. My face looked horrible and I had to film a scene with Evan in 40 minutes.

When I sat in front of the huge mirror my thoughts were fighting again, was it right to forgive her? It definitely felt right and I was relieved that I had got rid of that burden.

Being resentful was never my thing, and somehow I felt bad for being bitter about that whole Sarah topic for so long.

Lara, a really polite make up artist began to do my eye make up and we were chatting about make up fail videos.
We both always found them funny and we made fun out of those people who had to wear that look.

»Hello Ladies,« Evan said when he stumbled into the trailer.
»Hey,« we both sang and giggled.

»Y/n I just wanted to ask if you'd like to come to that bar tonight, Billie and Leslie are also coming« a grin appeared on his face.
»Uh, yeah sounds good,« I didn't sound too sure.

»Believe me, it'll be great,« he assured me.
I nodded and Lara started to apply eyeshadow on my lids.

After she was done I got out of the trailer, in which I was boiling to death.

»Really not a good day for make up,« I mumbled on my way to set.
I noticed how little pearls of sweat were building up in my inner eye corners.

»Ready to shoot?« Evan asked when I arrived at my final destination.
»Yes, more than ready. I want to get rid of that costume as soon as possible,« I laughed and felt the heat under that dress building up.

»Alright, then we should really start.«

After I had to redo the scenes a couple of times because the light wasn't good, I could take a little break.

»I got you water,« Evan stated when he suddenly showed up behind me.
»Thank you Evan,« I thanked him with a smile.

A few minutes later we had to start again and after I had finished my part for the day I stayed longer to watch the others doing their acting game.

I had enough time to think about the last two days and how I felt. Immediately I felt worse and my forehead was wrinkled while I observed my colleagues acting.

My head couldn't be stopped not even when I had a quick chat with Ryan about something irrelevant.

When the sun set the work for the day was mostly done and I was happy to spend time with Billie, Evan and Leslie.

»Are you ready to go?« Evan cocked an eyebrow while asking.
»Er, yes I think so,« I responded and smiled when I saw that the two girls also showed up.

We walked towards our cars when I realised I left my jacket in the make up trailer.

Really?!

»Guys, you can go, I need to fetch my jacket I left it in the trailer,« I explained when I was about to turn around again.
»Alright then, I guess we'll see you later?« Billie looked at me with a warming smile.

»Yes, sure.«

Then I left the group and went back to the trailer.

I forgot to tell Jen that it'll take longer tonight.

»Y/n why are you still here?« Lara asked as she wanted to leave the make up palace. She totally caught me off guard.
»I forgot my jacket.«

»Oh okay, could you do me a favour?« Lara's puppy eyes almost popped out of her head.
»Sure what is it?«
»Can I leave you my key for that you can lock the trailer once you're done searching your jacket, I have a date and I really need to hurry,« she begged.

»Of course, I'll leave the key in Ryan's office so that you can grab it tomorrow,« I replied and she handed me her key.

The whole trailer smelled like a perfumery, my head began to ache once I was surrounded by the full extent of perfume.

I rummaged through the clothes rack but I couldn't find the missing piece.

I heard someone cursing outside of the trailer and not long after that Sarah entered the room.

»You're still here?« she asked.
»Yep, I wanted to leave but I can't find my Jacket,« I sighed in annoyance.
»Do you need a hand?«
»If you don't mind,« I responded and was about to dig deeper into that clothing mountain on one of the seats.

An oppressive silence was between the two of us while we searched on our own.

»I'm sorry for what I've said in that night,« Sarah suddenly mumbled.
»Yeah, don't worry you were drunk.«

Silence again.

You could've heard a needle drop.

»I can't find it nowhere, I think I have to head out without it,« I stated and scratched my temple.

I didn't feel comfortable being alone with Sarah.

»I think I'll leave now,« I muttered.
»Y/n, were you sure about what you said this morning?«

»Yes« I think she heard how uncomfortable I felt.
»You don't seem to be so sure about that,« she remarked.
»Really, I am«

My last hope was that the jacket could be underneath one of the make up tables.

»I know you, you're thinking again,« Sarah whispered and came closer.
I just sighed and tried to ignore the fact that she was right behind me.

»I'm sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable,« she apologised.
She placed her hands on my hips, and with that I turned around in shock.

»Please don't do this,« I whispered and looked down.
Her grip tightens.

»And I'm sorry that I hurt you,« she whispered.
Then she placed her plump lips on mine and for a split second I was surprised and didn't pull away.

I was petrified.

»Don't do this ever again, not to me and don't hurt Holland like you hurt me,« I said and pushed her away.
»Here, lock the trailer when you leave,« I yelled and placed the keys on a counter.
»I didn't mean-« I cut her off again.
»Bring them to Ryan's office, Lara expects them there tomorrow.«

I ran towards my car and had to take care that none of my tears were escaping my eyes.
Bullshit.

All I wanted to do was leave and go home.
And that was exactly what I was about to do.

I pulled my phone from out of my pocket and dialled Evan's number.

»Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I won't come tonight,« I excused myself.
»Oh, okay is there a reason?« He asked suspicious.
»Yeah, Jen said she needed me home something must be off,« I lied.
»Okay, sweetie then I'll see you tomorrow?«
»Sweetie? I like that,« I giggled while a few tears escaped my eye.
»But yes, see you all tomorrow. Hug Leslie and Billie for me.«
»Good Night y/n,« he softly spoke.
»Good Night Evan, I'll tell you tomorrow,« I responded.
He knew that something was off and I thanked him deep down for not addressing it.

Then I started the car to drive home.
If only I had known how fast things change with Jen...
