It was tradition that Maddy host a sleepover with a few select girls after every first football game. Chanel had went to every single one of them, being the cheerleading team's former captain for two years straight. Much to Soli's surprise, miniature baby pink envelope was taped to her locker, and enclosed was an invitation to Maddy's sleepover three days from now, which is a Friday.

The first thought that ran through her head was if she was being pranked. Her eyes scanned her surroundings, looking for the group of girls known to hang with Maddy. No one around her matched that description, so she tucks the small envelope in the side pocket of her backpack, and as she turns to go to her next class, Rue and Jules are approaching her, pink envelopes in their hands. Rue glances down where Soli put her envelope, and nods her head in that direction.

"You gonna go?"

"I thought she didn't like me," Soli chews on her bottom lip, genuinely interested in why Maddy invited her. Maybe it was a prank, and she only invited her for the sole purpose of trying to fight her when she got to her house. Or Maddy and Nate finally broke up, and she wanted to bond with Soli over how Nate did the both of them wrong.

"I wouldn't either if my boyfriend couldn't keep his eyes off you," jokes Jules, and Rue playfully nudges her side.

"Please," Soli scoffed.

"They probably have the most toxic relationship, anyway. Soli doesn't need Nate's toxicity in her life anymore," Rue stressed, causing Soli to smile to herself.

"And what do I need?"

"Some Adrian dick!" exclaimed Jules, causing a few passerby's to shoot the trio a weird look.

"Not this shit again," she murmurs, and Rue and Jules exchange glances.

"Oh, come on," Jules whines, "He's like, totally crushing on you, and you're too caught up in Nate to see it. He was so scared when—"

"We're just friends," she insists, not necessarily meaning to interrupt her friend. She tried so very had not to think about the Fentanyl debacle, pushing it so far out of her mind the day after, which wasn't very healthy. After a short moment, she linked her arms with both Jules and Rue, beginning to make their way down the hallway.

Friday and the football game came quicker than Soli thought, and she found herself somewhat bored sitting in the stands watching guys throw a ball back and forth and tackle each other. Jules had convinced Soli and more so Rue to attend the game, partially in support of Adrian. He was so fast on the field, but Nate played equally as well. They were both good at the game, and would probably make quite the duo if they actually liked each other when they weren't on the field. But tonight, they did a good job of covering up their differences, working together and with the rest of the team to lead them to victory.
