It took a while for Soli to decide whether or not she wanted to go to the carnival. After her argument with Maddy, she was reluctant to go anywhere she might be. But eventually, after much persuasion from Rue and Adrian, she gave in. Adrian agreed to drive all of them, including Gia, to the carnival.

The parking lot was filling up fast, and it was obvious that other teenagers were intoxicated. Some vendors, food and otherwise, were unloading from their trucks all of their supplies, including tables, banners, and food.

"Anyone wanna smoke?" Adrian asks after Gia got out of the car when she saw her friends. He places the car in park once he finds a parking spot towards the back.

"You kids have fun," Rue says as her way of politely declining, unbuckling her seatbelt.

"Text us when you're done," Jules smiles, before doing the same, hopping out of the car just as Rue taps her knuckles against the hood of the car, sending a small smirk their way before walking alongside Jules to the entrance.

"They make a cute couple," sighed Adrian, pulling a small, wrapped up bag of weed from his jacket pocket. He reaches across Soli to open the glove compartment, fishing around for rolling papers and a lighter. After finding the items, he closes the compartment with a soft thud, and begins the rolling up process.

"Are they a couple?" Soli asks, leaning back into her seat as she watches him begin. She always preferred using cones as they were already pre-rolled, and it was easy because all she had to do was pack the weed in and twist the ends. Rolling up seemed to be more of a hassle, and it definitely took longer, but as long as the end result is being high.

"I wish they were," he murmurs before trailing his tongue across the paper to seal the weed in and secure the blunt. He glances over at her before flicking on his blue lighter, holding the end of the blunt up to the flame. Smoke appears out from the end, and he places the other end slightly in between his lips, sucking in. After a moment, he breathes out the smoke, reaching his hand upward to open the sunroof. Soli cracks her window open as well, and Adrian hands the blunt to her after inhaling twice more.

It had been somewhat of a while since she smoked, and she always loved the almost instant feeling of fuzziness it gave her. She glances over at Adrian, who had been staring at her as she breathed in once more, carefully passing the blunt back to him as she blew the smoke out of her nose.

This rotation continues until the blunt turns into a roach, with not much left to smoke.

"Such a nice night," Soli grins, sinking herself lower into her seat, looking over at Adrian who tosses the small roach out of the window. The fuzziness exists from her head to her toes, producing small goosebumps on her skin. He then looks at her again with a small smile plastered onto his face.
