Griffin's pov... Getting home from the gym I walk to the kitchen, seeing Bryce and Josh making tiktoks. They wave at me saying hello before continuing their dance, I just nod not wanting to interrupt them. I take a glass from the cupboard, getting water from the sink starting to chug.
"Woah, slow down," Kio smiles coming into the kitchen, "we'll have no water left."
I scoff at his weird sentence before kissing him on the cheek.
"Nice to see you too."
"How was the gym?" Kio asks, looking down at my attire before looking back up again.
"It was boring, it's more fun when you have a workout partner." I tease coming closer.
"I'll think about it." Kio just smirks back, he turns to leave but I grab his waist pulling him into a hug.
"Gross you're all dirty and you smell." His nose scrunches in disgust making me chuckle and hold him tighter. I kiss his neck lightly before Bryce yells,
"Get a room!"
"I'll think about it!" I yell back, it was the best comeback that came to mind, plus I also said it to annoy Kio.
Kio giggles in my arms making me lighten my grip, kissing his neck one more time before letting him go.
"Come to my room at 10, I wanna cuddle and it's my turn to pick a movie." I state before walking up the stairs going to take a shower. I go to the gym at night, it's less crowded and peaceful, so it was already 9:30.

I hear a knock at the door, Kio coming in before I even say it's okay.
"Hi, are you ready to watch the movie?" I say, yawning on his way over to my bed Kio nods. I take in his form seeing he's wearing his sweatpants and one of my stolen hoodies.
"I guess so." Kio yawns again slipping into my bed and cuddling into my side.
"You tired already?"
"You're making me watch a movie at 10, I'am a normal human being that likes their sleep." He sasses back, looking at me through his eyelashes acting all innocent.
"Don't worry," I start, wrapping my arm around his waist pulling him closer, "this movie will help you stay awake."
His eyes widen in realization, starting to push away from me I hold tight to his waist not letting him escape.
"Nah ah, it's my turn to pick the movie and we both have to watch it, that was our deal remember?"
"I say it's a stupid deal now, I didn't sigh up for scary movies!" Kio says making me chuckle. He's terrified of scary movies and we never get to watch them together, but we made a deal that we have to watch whatever the other person picks for that night, and I wanna watch 'Us'.
"Actually you did, we said any movie the person picks the other person has to watch, you never said no horror movies."
"I thought that was just an unspoken rule that there were no horror movies!" Kio keeps struggling in my grip, making me irritated. I pull him into my lap making him straddle my legs, I grab onto his wrists holding them in front of us.
"Stop moving, you said we can watch anything and I'am sorry but we're going to watch 'Us'." I state firmly looking into his eyes. He shivers before nodding,
"Fine but if I'am gonna die you better turn it off." I laugh at his statement before pecking his lips.
"That's fine with me." I let go of his wrists, he lifts off of me grabbing a blanket and covering it over both of us. I pick up my laptop getting 'Us' up on the screen.
"Even the picture looks scary." Kio shivers referring to the lady with the mask halfway off with a tear in her eye.
"Don't worry, I'am right here and it's just a movie it's not real." I kiss the top of his head hitting play.

A scream flys through the air making me jump more then the jump scare, Kio's head is tucked into my chest, he shivers with fear grabbing my shirt for comfort. I rub his back soothingly, pausing the movie for us to take a break.
"Hey Hey, it's okay you're alright, nothing's gonna hurt you." I whisper in his ear. "Just take deep breaths." I take a deep breath in, Kio following after, both of us breathing out at the same time. More deep breathing and reassuring words Kio is steady again.
"I'am sorry I am such a pussy." Kio whispers looking up at me.
"Don't ever say that, there's nothing wrong with being scared, I was scared too." I kiss his forehead, then lean my head on his.
"We can watch one of your shows now or we can go to bed?" I suggest, opening my eyes to look at him.
"But we still have half an hour left of your movie." Kio reminds me, wrapping his hand around two of my fingers.
"Well let's say you were about to die, we have to turn it off now, darn it." I hear a giggle making me smile.
Turning to my laptop I exit the movie and put on a 'Friends'. Wrapping my arms around Kio's waist I lie down fully resting my head in his chest. I hear a sigh from above me before fingers are carding through my hair.
After the episode ended the laptops lifted off the side of my leg, Kio places it on the side of the dresser closing the programs down.
Both of us now laying down fully, me still resting my head in front of his chest and arms around his waist.
"I love you." I whisper looking up at him, he just giggles.
"I love you more." With that said we both fall asleep shortly after.
