Griffin's pov...
Being a Demon was easy to me, I got to reek havoc on earth and all that shit, but when I picked a human to take care of it got a lot harder. He's very clumsy and accident prone, I laughed the first couple times he hurt himself, but I've been with Anthony now for 15 years and I've grown a soft spot for him. I might be a couple hundred years older but he's cute and shy. I didn't know he was my type until I hung out with him, of course not really because he can't see me and doesn't even know I exist.
The pain of being his Guardian Demon is that the stupid Angel won't leave, like I understand you're his Guardian Angel but you don't have to be with him every second. This is why Demons don't get along with Angels they're to clingy and protective, but he is hot.
I only had a normal conversation with him the first time I met him, then he started being bossy. His names Jaden and he's been with Anthony since he was born, five years longer than me. I guess Angels get assigned their human when they're born, Demons just pick a human whenever and can stick with them or go find a new one. Kinda sad now that I think about it, at least Angels get to know their human, I'll give them that.
I stuck with Anthony because I thought he was interesting and even though Jaden is a sassy bitch he interested me too. He gets so angry with my teasing, it's so funny to see his cute frustrated face giving me a death glare that will only kill air. We argue a lot, but he's never gotten under my skin and made my blood boil, I've made him freak out so many times telling him Anthony is about to die. So that's what I am about to do now,
I teleport to Jaden seeing him peacefully reading a book on the couch. We live with Anthony, we're like his roommates, but he doesn't know he has roommates. He's never seen us before but we can make ourselves known whenever. Once when Anthony was 8 I moved things in his room and flicked the lights on and off, he was so scared the whole year, I am a dick but that's what Demons do, I guess. I focus again walking over to Jaden and resting my hands on his shoulders, I feel a jump underneath my hands before Jaden speaks up,
"You donkey! What do you want?" Jaden asks irritation leaking from his words. Oh I must have forgot, Angels don't swear, it's the funniest shit sometimes when he uses other words to fill in the swearing.
"Well I saw Anthony in his room," I dragged on the 'm' so there's more build up.
"What about it." Jaden questions shrugging my hands off his shoulders, standing up and putting his book away with a snap of his fingers.
"Well, he was gonna play that finger game," I gestor with my hands, holding up five fingers, "You know with knives and you try to go really fast with the knife and try not to cut your finger off."
"You stopped him right?" Jaden asks panicked, I just shrug before Jaden sprints past me upstairs. I smirk knowing my plan worked and teleport up to Anthony's room to see Jaden watching a sleeping Anthony.
"You fudging lied." Jaden yells stomping up to face me, I was a couple inches taller then him, he was strong, but he can't fight me, against Angel rules.
I just smirk looking down at him, "But you're so easy to fool." I chuckle seeing his eyes light up with fire.
"That doesn't give you the right to tell me he's in danger!" Jaden yells pointing at Anthony.
"I can do whatever I want."
"You're so stubborn, I hate you!" Jaden states, walking towards the bedroom door.
"Hate is such a strong word though, plus you can't hate me, I am so loveable."
"That is definitely not true."
"Thank you." I say walking over to Jaden again.
"Your species are so weird."
"says you." I throw back, wrapping my arm around his shoulders, "Why not stop worrying so much."
"First I'll never stop worrying because it is my job to protect him and second stop touching me." Jaden sasses pulling my arm off his shoulders.
"Just say it once."
"What?" Jaden asks a confused look crossing over his face.
"You like me touching you." I state walking him into a wall and pinning my hands to both sides of his face.
"I-I don't like y-you touching me."
"But you see your body is betraying your words." I smirk sliding one of my hands down his side and back up under his shirt.
"S-stop." Jaden whines, biting his lip when I squeeze his nipple. He try's to push my hand away but a low growl leaves the back of my throat making him stop his movements.
We lock eyes with each other, before I smash my lips to his, he kisses back after a second and moans into my mouth. He taps my chest indicating he needs air, I slowly pull away catching my breath.
"For such an innocent being, you're very sexy." I state pushing myself off the wall to be standing at my normal height again.
Jaden just blushes before going wide eyed,
"We just kissed, what if someone finds out, I am gonna go to hell!"
"Calm down!" I yell over his blabber, making him look up at me. " No ones gonna find out, it'll just be our little secret." I wink before I hear a quiet scream.
We both whip our heads towards the sound, seeing Anthony's eyebrows furrowed and limbs thrashing around. Jaden sprints beside his bed and puts his hand on Anthony's forehead, he calms down after a minute and Jaden lays beside him cuddling him into his chest.
I smile climbing onto the other side and wrapping my arm around Anthony's waist.
"Night baby." I whisper in Anthony's ear then looking at Jaden seeing him snuggle into the pillows. "Night babies." I correct myself seeing Jaden's cheeks go red before I fall asleep myself.

A scream is heard throughout the room, making Jaden and I both sit up in panic. Looking at each other before looking behind us and seeing Anthony's wide eyes looking between me and Jaden. Oh fuck.
