*LJ'S POV*

I saw you again last night
I caught you catching my eye

I'm not letting her walk. I ran up to her and picked her up. I searched her for the truck keys. Sure enough she has them. I have her over my shoulder. I'm carrying her back to her truck. She is squirming around and hitting my back. Honestly my back was stinging.

"Put me down" she commanded

"Keep fighting Jade... your still not leaving my hold."

I put her in the back seat and locked the doors. Her truck will only unlock from the truck keys. When your driving the doors automatically lock. When I'm about to get in the driver seat, I unlock it, and lock it back up again. We leave the place and we're driving in silence.

"Your gonna hear me out... whether you like it or not" I said

"Thrill me" she said sarcastically

She laid in the backseat. She had her hands over her face, probably more pissed than ever. But I didn't care, because I don't want to lose her. Still the silence is in the air. Right now, we're acting like siblings. We're not acting like a couple. Which is actually funny at this point.

"I was trying to get back to you and Kylie. For me to get back to you two... this was the only plan... is if I made it look like I was cheating on her... and I-"

"Certainly your good at that... I just don't get it... why your lying to me... instead of her... I mean... LJ I love you... and if you can't get that through your head.. than I don't know what to say or do any more..."

"Why are you blaming me.. I'm doing what I can to get back to you.. and all your doing is accusing me... and now I'm thinkin I don't know what you want"

"Kylie is four months Larry... four months and she already laughed... when she gets older, she's gonna be asking..where's my daddy? Whose my dad? Why did dad have to leave? What am I gonna say to her? Oh.. your dad just up and left... he says this is his only way to keep us safe.. from some psycho person.. and he never stayed in touch.. and yeah.. I don't want to lie to her Larry... because then that makes me look and feel bad.. I'm giving it my all to take care of Kylie... I don't see you in the picture of taking care of her... when I see someone trying... they are actually doing it... instead of waiting for something to happen... if you were trying..you would be calling every day.. asking how Kylie was doing... I've been having sleepless nights.. it's not because of Kylie... it's because of you... I'm laying awake.. hoping... praying.. that you'll be back... and when I do fall asleep...all I get is nightmares... nightmares that will haunt me from here on out"

The ending hit me hard. I was driving and all I feel is tears coming down. All I could do is take it in. I've put my family in jeopardy. And I just failed of being a father and a husband. Jade just completely broke down in tears. This is exactly what I was afraid of.

"So I can't cheat but you can"

"What are you talking about"

"I'm talking about you sharing a bed with Cade... that's what I'm talking about"
