*Jade's POV*

I woke with LJ's arm wrapped around me. I slowly removed his arm from me. I made my way to the door. I out on my tennies and went out. I plugged my ear phones in my phone. I tip went for a short run. Cody and I are up tonight for short round. I know they have slack this morning. Maybe I'll watch it after my morning run.

*One Hour later*

I was breathing hard and my runs are slowing down. I usually run two miles under fifteen minutes and now it take me twenty minutes. What the heck to going on? Well then again I've been slacking my workouts. I guess this is me paying the price. I walked it off and made my way to the grandstand.

I sat down in the bleachers. In the distance, I see Tyler and Kollin. I also see Kollin looking at me. I waved but he didn't.  The heck is happening?  He didn't want to be out of my life, so I suggested we be friends. He agreed to it but why is he not being his normal self. Oh well, if that's what it comes to than so be it. After the team roping went, I walked back to the trailer. I had my earphones in my ears, I couldn't hear anything.  Then all of a sudden someone cuts me off with their horse. What the actual hell? Can't they see me walking here!

I stopped and walked around the horse and continued on. Not even caring who is was. I get back to the trailer and started feeding the horses. I walk back into the trailer finding my baby awake. Cody on the other hand, is sprawled out on the bunk. Him and Tyler stayed out late last night.

"Good morning babe" LJ whispered

"Morning honey"

"Where did you go" he asked

"Went for a short run and watch slack. Come to find out, they are bringing the top five back. Cody and I are third high call."

"Nice. What bout Tyler"

"I don't know, they ran a nine this morning"

"Oh. What you say you and I get breakfast. Leaving Cody here"

"Haha.. I'm like that"

LJ put on a t-shirt, sweats, and tennies. We walked out of the trailer and to the truck. I got in the passenger side. Off we went to go feed. The thought of Kollin being awkward, kept bugging me. Like is he really still hooked on to the fact that I'm married. Married to the guy who completely lied to me multiple times. LJ and I have been through a lot. Somehow we still manage to get through it. When I found out I was pregnant, I didn't know who to tell. Of course LJ, and that's who I tried telling first. When it never went through,  I kept my mouth shut. I wanted to tell him in person. 

After the miscarriage, I didn't have a place to stay.  I was heart broken and I couldn't even look at LJ at the moment. I stayed with Kollin. He kept me laughing and we had a sharing but no more than clothes being removed. The fact that I was heart broken, I wasn't myself for a while.  I didn't tell LJ this but when him and I split, I kinda stopped by the house to say what needed to be said.  But he wasn't home at the time. If I called him, he wouldn't pick up either.  I left the place and went back to Kollin's. 

Kollin was there the entire time. But to me, it wasn't for us. Yeah we were all lovey dovey at first, but with the attitude he gave me that day. I wouldn't tolerate it.

With LJ, when I talked about Kollin, he wasn't bothered. Well except for the time he walked in on me and Kollin.  Which wasn't my fault. LJ is laid back kind of guy. Like he trusts me and I do trust him. I'm also afraid that if I let loose, it will be a turmoil.

I don't know,  all I know is that I love LJ. He took my heart from the beginning. Ever since I left, I never felt whole; until he came back into my life. Kollin does need to move on. I love him but friend wise. Thats all he was I think. He was just a friend that is there all the time. I don't know why I agreed on that relationship. If I didn't, things would probably be different.  He wouldn't be giving me the cold shoulder.

LJ and I ate at some diner. Having a random conversation. Taking a stroll down memory lane. After we ate, LJ paid for the ticket. We headed towards the feedstore. LJ and I walked hand in hand. I needed some stuff anyways. I got a cart and LJ drove it around;  following me.

We headed down the boot isle for the horses. I picked four sets of split, skid, and bell boots. Then I walked to the ropes, I picked two packs of gloves, five packs of rubber for my saddle horn. I don't need a rope, I have quite a few in the trailer. But what I need to stack up on is the vet supplies and grain. I'm down to my last bag of grain. I grabbed what I needed and headed back towards the cashier. I told her five bags of safe choice the performance.

All together I spent six hundred bucks. Most of it came from the boots. Ha! What can I say, I spoil my horses. LJ and I took the bags out. We drove to the side of the building for the grain. The guys who worked there asked for a autograph from both of us. We signed what was given to us. Then all of a sudden there was a mob around us. We took pictures, signed autographs, and answered questions. I pretty much had guys on my side. There was a few girls and kids. But mainly guys and I just smiled. Yes, I was wearing the wedding band. LJ had his on his necklace that went along with the promise ring. Everyone still asked about Kollin. Which I didn't mind at all. I don't know how they knew about me and Kollin.

After everything died down, we left. It felt great to get noticed. I don't think the cashier knew us. I guess I have fans every where now. LJ and I pulled up to the trailer, finding Cody and Tyler roping the dummy. LJ back up the trailer, so we can load the grain in the back.

Cody helped out. Tyler stood there, watching us. But I ignored him as well. After LJ, Cody,  and I got done unloading the grain, we walked back into the trailer. We needed to study the steer we have tonight. 

"What took you guys so long" Cody asked

"We were held up" I said

"By who"

"Fans"

"Oh"

We continued watching the video.  The first round he ran a bit then the second one he slowed down. It's a but fifty fifty if he will run or not. But he wasn't to bad on the back end. He made it easier on Cody ' s job. I wanted to get a nap in before tonight's round. 

*Short Round*

I started getting ready for tonight. I went with a black button  up shirt, a pink undershirt, denim cowgirl tuff jeans, dark brown square toed boots, and a shovel shaped straw hat. I like LJ'S crease on his hats, so I have him crease mine. I braided my hair to the side. When I walked out, I found Viper dressed for the night. LJ was already sitting on Eagle, waiting for me.

I hopped on and off we went to the warm arena. Cody, Tyler and Kollin were talking together. I guess they made it back for short round. I kept to myself and stayed around LJ. We rode around until the team roping was up. I can sense Kollin starring at us though.

"Team Ropers" one of the judges shouted

LJ and I walked towards the box. I jumped off and tighten my cinch. I was pumped for tonight.  Tyler and Kollin were the gunners, then Travis Tryan and Michael Jones, and me and Cody.  Tyler stuck and Kollin stabbed a leg. Travis and Michael went and ran a 5.7. Then it was our turn. My adrenaline was high. I called for it, and I was on the money.  I stuck em and Cody came around and panny hosed em. We ran a 3.9. I can see Kollin was mad.

I tipped my hat to the crowd. Overall we finished second, which is not to bad. Better than leaving with a empty pocket. We rode back to the trailer and unsaddled. Then we fed and off we went to bed.
