Steel-on-steel clashed for hours, even after the last meal of the day, cooked by the angry chef duo. After it all, Luke and Lance were back to how they originally started the endeavour: Exhausted. Being able to transfer a sword from one hand to another had become easier for Lance, but being able to summon the shield before Luke hit him had been a different matter. Nagori had to step in and help train, as they needed her healing ability. Luke couldn't show Lance how it could be done either, without a shield of his own, and using Lance's was a no go since it vanished the moment Luke tried to equip it.
Outside the basement and on the streets of Islington, chaos continued and the high street had never seen such destruction before. Nighttime turned even the most sensible of residents into savages as they vandalised any object or building in sight. Fires were spiralling out of control now, as even the wooded areas of the town were engulfed in flames. Police, ambulances, and fire services had all but given up. A fire truck did attempt to make it into the centre of the town, but for sheer irony now rested in the middle of the road on fire.
Since the encounter with Chris, Nate had rebuilt what forces he had lost and continued to swell his ranks. His orders were to eliminate the town of Islington, but that was just a smoke screen. The real reason the guild master wanted him to attack the town was to eliminate Luke Wakefield and several Ofcam chairmen. Each attack Nate had made was in a town where Ofcam workers lived and where their families were. The other reason for the attacks was to prove his loyalty to the guild he had joined. He wasn't the only one having to prove his worth, either.
Over a hundred skeletal Warriors and over two hundred zombies raced towards the graveyard exit as he let them loose. Behind them, seventy large sabres with snapping jaws and razor sharp claws kept to the rear. In a mass frenzy, the army of damned tore up the graveyard and anything in sight as they exited onto the mainroad. All Nate could do now is sit back and watch his own XP increase as his minions deleted everyone.
Necromancy was a fitting class for Nate and even though he hated his bone-like form, he loved the power he commanded. None of the guild members he had met had such gory destruction on their side. Zombies and skeletons invaded every house they saw, breaking down doors to get to the terrified people inside before then adding them to Nate's XP. Per Nate's orders, they were to delete everything and leave no stone unturned until they had done the job of deleting Mr. Andrews and his family.
XPswelling like that of a tidal wave, Nate hit level twelve before his minions reached the town centre where the craziness was the highest. Mobs raced up and down the street in dented, damaged cars, chucking firebombs and driving up parking meters. Using their abilities on anything they wanted, the high street grew still and quiet when Nate's army arrived. Most people, wondering if some form of augmented army of the damned had gone on the loose, took off their GTs. Upon doing so, real panic and fear swept over the thugs and hooligans.

Seven o'clock arrived and with it, Brit and Anna continued their staring match. Brit had become so bored that she resorted to annoying Anna. Squeeks tried as he could to make her stop the upfront hostility and remained hidden as Amilia prowled the sofa, looking for him.
"Guys, you may want to stop now. It's seven. Another hour and we'll all be elsewhere." Nagori dismissed her staff and yawned. Her mana pool had taken a bit of a hit thanks to Lance getting slashed by Luke.
Each person in the guild looked towards the ceiling; even a muffled Aldwin, who had long since awoken.
"They are still at it?" Luke asked as he put away his sword. Tired, he grabbed a water bottle from Nagori, who had took it upon herself to sit on the sidelines with twelve bottles for the lads.
