Rita(RiRi)POV:

I sit in my 'room' patiently waiting. It's been over 8 hours and I haven't gotten any sleep. I know I probably look like a monster, big round tired eyes, circle under my eyes.

I get up and walk out of my room. I can't say my stay here has been an uncomfortable one. Surprisingly he has treated me well, not something I was expecting. I guess he really doesn't want to hurt me, he just wants to pull August in. I sigh.

I always seem to be caught up in August's problems. This is exactly why I left for New York, to run away from this life. I don't want to live a life like this. Where I'm potentially always kidnapped. I guess it isn't all glitz and glam, having August 'Yung' Alsina love you. It has its perks, but they are over beared by all this.

Am I really ready to really die for him, again?

August(Yungin)POV:

I run my hand over my face. I'm so frustrated.

"You good man?"

I look up and it Red. I furrow my eyebrows. "I'm fine." I snap. He sigh. "Listen man-"

I get up. "Not now Curtis." I leave the room, looking for Rizz. I pass one of the workers. "Where is Rizz?"

"I think he is downstairs, talking to the crew."

I nod and go downstairs. I tap him on his shoulder. "C'mon, let's talk."

He steps away from the crew and nods. "I'm going to see Liyah for a bit and when I come back, make sure everyone is ready. I won't be long."

He nods. "Calm down. Everything will go well."

I nod. "I know." I turn when I hear heels clicking on the floor. I sigh.

"Why wasn't I told anything about this?"

"Beverly," I say bitterly. "Well for starters, you don't care about Rita and because I run shit around here, I just didn't want you here. Someone, get this thing out of here."

I walk out and drive to Chantelle's house. When I get there I knock on her door, waiting for her to open. She opens the door in her robe. "Aug! What are you doing here? Is everything alright?"

I sigh and nod. "Yes, everything is fine. I just came to see my daughter."

She steps aside to let me in. "And you really shouldn't open the door dressed like that."

"What's going on?"

I raise my eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"Come sit with me." She pulls me towards the couch. "Is there a war going on?"

I nod.

"You haven't had those in a long time. I thought everything was good in the NOLA."

"Listen, what I'm about to tell you, you keep to yourself. Don't tell Liyah. You and your mom have a tendency of talk around her."

She nods. "Rita isn't dead. I'm fetching her."

She gasps. "Oh my gosh! Is she alright? You mean to tell me, they have had her all this months?"

I sigh. "No. Only for a few weeks. She faked her death, moved to New York to start a new life away from me."

Nelle clears her throat. I chuckle. "Both her and her best friend. She was moving away from Rizz."

She gets up. "I hope you come back. Your daughter needs you. She's in her room sleeping. Try your best not to wake her up."

I wake upstairs and open her door. I smile. Her left hand is hanging over the bed and her blanket on the floor. She's never been a peaceful sleeper.
