I looked past his shoulder into a world I had only ever seen in my dreams (sensing a pattern here?) Fairies alight with laughter buzzed past my ear and into the house screaming something along the lines of "I'm gonna get you!" Flowers the size of giants swayed in the breeze singing of joy and hapiness, and mermaids sunbathed with their tails draped in the warm waters of an ocean I had never heard of.
"This. Is. AMAZING!" I screamed as I ran past Peter and into the midst of it all. With a smile the size of Mount Rushmore upon my face I twirled and twirled until I lost my balance and fell over laughing. My landing was soft. I felt the ground beneath me and realized I was in a plush meadow. Amazing. I looked up at the spot where my house should have been and saw... a castle? How could this be, the inerior looked completly like a house, not at all like a stone castle.
"Yes. It truly is" said Peter as he took a seat next to me. "This world was built around you. You're thoughts, your dreams, your fantasies and anything yo've ever wanted." He explained as he tore apart a blade of grass.
"But why me... Why me and not someone else. Like, why not the kids dying of cancer... unless?" I trailed off in fear.
"No you do not have cancer o anyother terminal disease. You will live a long and happy life. You may live it here or in your world. You do not have to make the decision now but you will eventually."
"Okay... I can do that," I said as I took a closer look at my surroundings. It truly was how I had always imagined my home. I loved medievil times and one of my favorite childhood stories was... Alice in Wonderland. Holy shit. I'm alice, and I'm in wonderland...
