~𝘒𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘐𝘯 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘳~

"Leave or I call the police." I immediately recognize the voice. For some reason I feel safe and protected by the man who has been so cold to me before. My eyes lift off of the stalker to meet the stern face of my boss, Mr. Holland. His hand is still clenched into a fist from hitting the man who is clinging onto his cheek, while the other holds its grip on my shoulder.

"But she knows me." He still persists and this time I get ready to attack, preparing for my knee to travel to the place where the sun doesn't shine. Mr. Holland's grip tightens slightly on my shoulder before he completely lets it go, stepping in front of me.

"She clearly doesn't and I don't appreciate strangers causing trouble in my building." I can almost hear the shaking knees of the man who just now realizes he is speaking to the famous young billionaire, Tom Holland.

"I'm sorry, sir." He begins with a shaking voice, but Mr. Holland brings his hand up to stop him, causing the man to flinch at the sudden movement.

"If I catch you anywhere near this building or speaking to my employees ever again, I will not hesitate to notify the police." He leaned down with what I could see was a small smirk before whispering to the man, yet I could still make out what he said. "I can make your life a living hell. So leave and never come back while you still have the chance."

My heart quickens in pace at his tone. I have never heard this side of him before. I've only ever heard rude and short replies, not protective threats.

The man quickly nods his head before turning and running as fast as he can, a bruise already forming on his cheek. Mr. Holland turns to me and the girls, Elizabeth clinging onto scissors while Noelle is gripping onto a stapler and Abby is still holding onto her heel. Me on the other hand, am completely stunned and standing frozen in shock.

"Have you ever seen that man before?" Mr. Holland asks with narrowed eyebrows, glancing over towards the door to make sure he was really gone. I try and snap out my head so I can answer his question, yet it takes me a few seconds to gather my thoughts.

"He has been in the coffee shop every morning for the past week and a half, sir. I thought it was just a workplace and time coincidence. Not that he was stalking me." I say the last part very quietly while looking down at my hands, in doing so I also see the strikingly clean shoes belonging to my protector.

"You are no longer allowed to go to the coffee shop by yourself, at least until we don't see that man there for awhile." He crosses his arms in front of his chest as his tone still remains stern.

I look up at him to wonder what he is suggesting and who I would even go to the shop with. "Message me once you get here in the mornings from now on. I will come down and go with you to the shop."

This time he leans down to my ear and whispers. "Remember, Miss y/l/n, I don't do favors. I am simply making sure the employees that keep the money coming are safe." My eyes widen and a chill runs down my spine, my cheeks growing completely red and flushed.

"O-Of course, s-sir." I sort of stumble through these words, still in awe that Mr. Holland suggested himself joining me to the coffee shop every morning. How will I survive being with him more than I have to?

"Your break is over. Get back to work." He says this towards everyone before he starts making his way towards the elevator. Once he is out of sight, I look over and glare at Noelle.

"You called Mr. Holland?!" She looks at me with her big blue eyes before giving a small and nervous smile.

"He's the owner of the company, I thought he would be the best person to call. You are also his secretary, so..." I know she's right and that the logical person she would call would be him as he would also be the most intimidating, but he sure didn't waste his time in getting down to the lobby. He got here in a minute!

I hear footsteps running towards me before I am embraced by a familiar figure. "I'm so glad you're alright!" Haz exclaims, clinging onto me like I am an apparition that would disappear at any moment. "Abby called me just a few moments ago, shortly explaining what happened."

I am surrounded by his strong arms and tall body, my eyes widened in surprise at the non-formal action. I eventually wrap my own arms around him, feeling comfort in his grasp. We pull away and I look into his bright icy eyes to see true relief in them.

"Y-yeah, I-I'm fine." I let out a staggered chuckle as I try and shake off the daze that I have been in for the past five minutes.

"I saw Tom heading upstairs. He came and helped out?" He asks with a raised eyebrow.

"Umm, yeah. Noelle called him while it was happening. He got here pretty quickly and actually punched the guy before telling him to leave before he called the police. He even is going to join me to go to the coffee shop from now on to make sure he's not there." I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear as I share the story of Mr. Holland actually doing something for me for once.

"He's going to go with you? Man, I thought if anyone it would be someone you knew such as one of the ladies or maybe even me. Never in a million years did I think he would suggest himself." He gives me a wink and I roll my eyes and sigh with disgust.

"He made it clear that it is not a favor and that he is simply making sure his employee is safe as I bring in the money he oh so loves." I don't try to hide the sarcasm in my tone as I rest my hands on my hips.

"Ah. That sounds more like Tom. Or at least the Tom you all know." He says with a small smile seeming to look back on the memories of the Tom he knows and who he calls his best friend.

"Yeah. Quite the crazy lunch break." Abby lets out a laugh and we all join in.

"You can say that again." Elizabeth lets out a sigh, taking a small spin in her chair.

"I have to head back up. My master told me that my break is over." I give a small salute of my hand, starting to take my leave.

"Good luck, comrade!" Elizabeth gives a salute back, resting her elbows on the desk. Abby and Noelle give small waves while Haz begins to walk with me back towards the elevator.

What a day. It's not even over, but really what a day! First I get completely overwhelmed by Mr. Holland, then I go into Haz's office just to sit there and say nothing, then I go to take my usual lunch break but am interrupted by a stalker trying to get me alone. Then my "hero" showed up and seemingly saved the day.

And there is even more! Then, my boss says he will be joining me to the coffee shop every morning to insure my safety. And then my coworker and friend that I can't help but be intrigued by runs up to me and hugs me close to him with complete relief that I was left unharmed. Yep, today has been absolutely insane.

Who knew my knight in shining armor was really going to be the stone hearted dragon?
