After we all had calmed down a little, they told me that they had found out that in the small compartment of the compass it said 'Redfield' in our dad handwriting
"I mean its obvious, right?" asked John B as we were all in the van going to the redfield lighthouse since it was our dads favorite place "A family heirlom, I mean what better place to hide a message? He had to know it was gonna come back to us right?" He said looking at me
"Yeah, thats possible" Kie said
"It could also be possible that youre concocting wild theories to help, you know, with your sad feels" said Pope
"Pope? Bro, You know how I process my sad feels. Dank nugs and the stickiest of ickies, thats how I do it" said JJ
"Im not concocting, okay? Our dad is trying to give us a mesage" said John B "if it helps you believe" said Kie
"Look, I... I dont need a therapy session, okay? Like im not trippin' out" JB said "Ava what do you think?" he asked me "It could be true, but I dont want to get my hopes up" i said
"Its okay to trip bro, but-" JJ started saying but my brother cut him off "Our dad is missing, okay? Missing. You dont know what its like having the person closest to you vanish, and then have no idea what happened. Just wake up every morning wondering"
"Its been almost a year" said Kie
"Hey, he could have been kidnapped. Thats definitely a possibility" said JJ
"Yeah, he could be in a soviet sub getting interrogated by the KGB somewhere" said pope "Absolutely, or atlantis" continued JJ
"Look, what do you think the message is?" Kie asked us "Redfield. Redfield lighthouse. That was our dads favorite place" i said
When we arrived John B said "Okay, so here's what gonna happen, youre gonna post out and look out for bogeys, okay?" refering to JJ
"wait, why me?" asked JJ "Because youre not coming" said pope
"Why?" JJ asked again "Hey, im gonna stay with you handsome, dont worry, they wont kidnap you" i said smirking
But Pope continued talking and said "There are independent and dependent variables, and youre independent, we dont know what you'll do"
"Shut up!" said JJ annoyed at pope
"Listen, pope, you stand look out with JJ and Ava, okay? If we get split up we meet back at JJs house" said John B
"Great" said Kie and they were headed out to the lighthouse
"Im gonna work on my merit scholarship essay, and im trying to keep felonies down to a minimum" said pope
"All right, would you just shut up already?" said JJ
I was bored so i decided to tickle JJ, remember we're on war, I havent forgotten about the almost dropping me on the water thing. I sneaked behind him and started tickling his neck, I know he hates when we tickle his neck. He jumped and started laughing trying to push me away but failing, after a few seconds my belly hurt from laughing so much so i stopped, we were both laughing hysterically and then he said "Okay, I see you, but what if I tickle you?"
